David and I made a beard brush back in 2016.
The reason why I never released this video is because some of the footage was f'd up pretty badly...
Mario fixed it a little bit but... Yeah... Whatever!

I don't know why but I was waiting for some super tech way to insert the hair in the holes. Then I realised that the "super tech way" is patience ;)
I think he may have benefited from having a Funnel
Yeah, maybe, but I suppose it may be nicer to be able to say "I made it, one single hair by one"
We have machine to insert the bristles into the holes without any glue
@@alinaboomhome6530 What machine?
Same. I looked for this just to see how bristles go in.
*That was a work of art*
Very neat. Should do a follow up of this video and do shaving brush as well for straight razors.
started watching this thinking, I've got to make one of these. then I see how the bristles are done and now I think maybe I'll look for one on amazon or something.
great work and even greater patience guys.
Magnificent! Simply magnificent! Great vid, great brush and well done Mario :)
I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful thing before... the project and the video... I'm going to go cry now... 😭😭😭
INCREDIBLE!
The Barber of Seville is extremely appropriate and I think would fit in any "make" video. I fell in love with the grain of that piece. Bring back the weirdness!
F yeah!!! So glad you got the reference... Obviously! ;)
That was fantastic! Not sure I would have the patience to add the hair! That looked like it took a while! Great video 👍. Can’t wait for the next one 😀
I really missed your videos like this. Well done!
Great choice of music. So entertaining too. Well shot. A ton of work went into this! : )
Beautifully done Giaco!!
Well this is goddamn fantastic
Aaand I love ya!
@@GiacoWhatever How do you get the bristles to stay?
Great work Giaco. I want that brush for my beard!!!
Excellent choice of Beard Brush music .....👍👍
So refreshing to hear classical music!
I hope to see and hear more
Love it! The music choice was absolutely perfect. *kisses fingers in your direction*
Ok that's one of the best videos i've seen in a while
That is incredible!! So well done. I wish I could hit the like button more than once. Maybe once you transport all your industrial gear you can make another one entirely with cncs, lasers, robots and the force.
That was an exercise in patience. Nice choice of timber and grain, sweet project. Cheers, David.
Cheers mate
Wow, what a gorgeous piece that turned out to be, and what an amazing amount of patience you have to put all those boar hairs in. We're sure your beard grew quite a bit during the time it took to put them all in! Fantastic video as always! PS, does Bugs Bunny know you used his music?
rilassantissimo video!! ottimo come sempre!!! ancora 800 persone e raggiungi il mezzo milione!!!
Grazie fratello!!!
Wow 👏👏👏👏 this is awesome!!!
All those tiny, individual hairs!!! Truly a labor of love.
Thank you for always making such great stuff!
It's always really inspiring and fun to see what you can do with just one little piece of wood!
Also, whenever I hear the Barber of Seville, I can't help but think about that one episode of Bugs Bunny. xD
Combined with the amazing content and cinematography, this makes my day complete!
❤️❤️❤️
Am I the only one picturing Bugs Bunny during this? Very fun video!
Hm, I never saw bristles glued in nearly individually, only saw a brushmaker once using a bundle of bristles and a thin wire, bending them over the wire in a U shape and forcing the resulting U into the whole, it held there without glue. there must be a thousand differnet ways to make a brush depending on the purpose, hair/bristles used.
Haha, the final product presentation is just awesome 😅
Dude, you're so weird...
I LOVE IT!!!
👍🏻 Awesome as always!
Great beard brush. Hey... you almost have half a million subs, Giaco! I wish I could sub more than once... I would!
Thanks. You just helped me a bit for my new brush concept for wavers. Still have more to workout since it's not going to be a traditional brush. It's going to conform to the hand more. That's the only hint I can give until I get it patented
Just amazing!
Excellent work.
A beautiful piece of work 🙂.
This cinematography got me hooked
LOL! Nice video, soundtrack and edit work. Congrats!
Awesome 👏
Awesome video. Great work!! 🎉☕️🍪
This is fantastic 😆
Glorious !
Haha you should have used a fly fishing hair stacker! Love the video!
Dramatic! (And beautiful of course!)
I wish I had these tools and a workshop to put them in, one day..one day..
Peace
Alright , you got that thumbs up 👍🏼 for the straight faces 😉 and maybe some for the awesome brush build !
great videos , helps us to get an idea of how things are made .
and are fun too
Magnificent!
The music took me back to looney tunes as a kid...awesome!
Totally! I felt kinda nostalgic too. That Bugs Bunny episode, oh dear!
love olive wood , beautiful
Man Olive wood looks so nice!
Didn't notice any F'd footage, Yes I watched the whole thing :)
Brilliant!
just beautiful
tu sei un pazzo.... ammiro la dedizione ma la pazienza che ci vuole è qualcosa di irraggiungibile XD
That was so soothing.
where do i find all the equipment you guys use? i really want to get into making my own brushes and this is by far the best video i’ve seen.
Brilliant!!!!!!!
ok, this is the perfect way to end my day, woodworking and a beard related one, and finally, amazing piano music timed perfectly with the process.
Hats up to you guys, you're geniuses.
I would really like to learn that was awesome
awsome!!!... I need it!... More than the MK! :D
Ok so they are glued in lol. Won't believe how long I've been looking for an answer to this question lol
so much fun!
Nessuno che riconosce il barbiere di Siviglia?
VIVA L'ITALIA!
Bravissimo!
BELLISIMO!!! BRAVO!! BRAVO!! More!!! ENCORE!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻🖤🖤🖤🖤
Amazing video
Great vid man! Wanted to do this for a very long time! Where did you get the wild boar hair from?
May i order one for later?
A little thing of beauty, and the video :-) Many thanks. What glue is used, please?
How long did it take to do the hair roughly? Awesome video and project.
Firstly, MASSIVE respect for both keeping a straight face in that last shot.... how many takes did it take to get that?
Secondly, that's a genuinely interesting build, I'd have never even thought about hand sticking bristles in a brush, out of curiosity how long did it take to stick them all in?
I think 3 or 4 hours...🤓
Great timming! I was wondering the best way to do one like that, now I know. David should have kept the big beard just for the ending of this video.
Actually... that was 2016... before he grew it
Excellent
Nice camera-work and excellent humor ;)
But you´ve probably never made a brush before, right?^^
13 ppl with their thumbs up in reverse obviously lack of good taste and humor. As always a pleasure to watch.
It would be nice to get some more details because it looks amazing, like size and the spacing between the holes for the bristles and the size of those holes
Your LUCKY that video is old. If you made a beard brush and didn’t have me as a stunt double I would have been pissed!!!
Bravisimo
looks beautiful! I thought the Maker Knife would appear at least once in this video ;)
There was non in 2016 ;)
@@GiacoWhatever oh! I didn't see the very first caption haha got it :)
Perfection
Which type of wax have you used at 5:42?
Some bee wax or parafine?
What kind of wax is it?
😎🎉Wow! 🎊Now I can repair my 🐗Boor Bristle hairbrushes, you guys are Total Aces! Thank you so much for the upload.🧸🧸🧸💝
Nice video and btw the music reminds me of a old Disney movie
almost 500k !!!
What glue did you use to hold the bristle in the wood?
Hi Giaco! What did you use to get the hair to stick inside, super glue? Thank you! so beautiful! I'm thinking about making a small climbing brush instead :-)
Hi Loren. Did you make the climbing brush? I just found this video when I was looking how to make a brush with the same pourpose
No i never made it! I think the boars bristles were too much $$ + the time it took to make…
@@slobberystellawhere did you even find boar bristles to purchase? Lol
@@C2_3DTroy Bungart studios sells it on his website. $15 for a ton of hair.
I'm also making a climbing brush and need glue reccomendations!
Bravo !
Love it
What glue did you use to set them in and how long to cure
It took much much time! By the way, our factory specializes in CNC machines for making various daily cleaning brushes and industrial brushes.
Magnificent
EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
What tools did you use
Do you use the maker knife to shave? :P
Looking at the title I wasn't sure if it was a brush for beards, or a brush made out of beard.
I thought it was a brush made out of beard hair....... So disappointed.
Where do I get the bristles?
where do you purchase the wild boar hair from?
How many times did you have to the last shot before you were able to keep a straight face?
how do I buy said brush. MakerBrush kickstarter?
Gorgeous, I made a brush by hand for climbing. It was hard to put those hairs in for sure, I see one guy said you could use a funnel. Any other tips for this beardless brush maker?
I want to do the same for climbing do you know where can I get the bristles ?
Very very nice
What! Swedish wildboar = David Windestål? Or where else did his beard go?
Time travel 😎
