Hope you found this informative! Edit: playing local content only works if your audio tracks are DDP+ and not TrueHD. The spatial effect is built-in out of the box but on Android, there are no official, legal ways of streaming Atmos or 5.1 content except Apple Music so my argument still stands. The audio could be a little funky on some devices so please use headphones, this is my first time handling stereo/surround sound so please go easy on me 😅 I recorded using two mics, edited and exported in 5.1 AAC in Final Cut Pro and re-encoded the audio track to Dolby Digital Plus E-AC3 using ffmpeg Feedback appreciated!
It does provide some dynamic range compression and a bit of stereo widening which are both important to my listening experience. So it's not a gimmick for me.
When i listen to music on RUclips, if i enable dolby atmos, the mids and highs get lowered, when i disable dolby atmos, everything sounds more loud and balanced and more fun
Dolby atmos overall enhances the overall vocals not bass It gives loud audio And behind the head sound Currently using Samsung F22 , it actually works. 🔥
You mentioned Dolby Atmos being just an equaliser. It's so much more than that. Different brands have different ways of introducing Atmos in smartphones (ways to cut down costs). The ones with built in chipsets (the more expensive ones) from Dolby sound exactly as how Dolby intended the audio to sound for mobiles. Most brands are introducing Atmos in software form, which do not do justice. Dolby Atmos is not just an equaliser, it works on HRTFs (Head Related Transfer Functions). While you many not get the exact spatial effect that you get in a theatre, the resemblance is uncanny. While content with Dolby Atmos may not be available for playback, your phone is designed to force the stereo signal through HRTF algorithms to reproduce an Atmos soundstage. Samsung and Sony's line of smartphones have introduced Dolby Atmos in a chip in their phones. The rest are all software oriented. Dolby Atmos for mobiles isn't a gimmick. It's an improvement over Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus that were being used in smartphones earlier.
This video was made over 2 years ago so it does have outdated info but yes, Atmos on android does have HRTF based virtualisation (decoders) but they ONLY work on 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus encoded tracks - which you have to download illegally from rips and play. Stereo upmixing to binaural audio as part of Samsung’s Galaxy 360 audio and Sony’s 360 reality audio are NOT Dolby Atmos. They’re custom implementations and require you to turn off dolby atmos decoders so that they can work My problem is mismarketing and fragmentation of virtual spatialisation algorithms
No HRTF based solution really completely works for you unless it uses _your_ HRTF (based on the shape of your head, shoulders, ears etc., everything changing the free-field sound coming at you before it reaches your eardrums). So saying you're doing anything HRTF-based without personalizing it to the listener's HRTF *really is* a gimmick, but you have to know what an HRTF even is to realize that.
Apparently my so called Dolby tuned speakers on my XT2041DL doesn't play AC3 at all. Which pretty much limits my options cause I can't mux OGG audio with the video, and it doesn't help that FDK AAC has a pathetic 17khz cut-off.
I totally agree. My smartphone is equipped with Dolby Atmos, but there is no content ready to apply it. There is a huge amount of Atmos content in the Netflix app for PC and they pass-through in EAC3 format. However, the Netflix app on Android smartphones behaves very strangely. All EAC3 formats consisting of 5.1 channels are converted to xHE-AAC 2.0 channels and provided to smartphone users. That makes it impossible for smartphone users to take advantage of Dolby Atmos.
Dolby atmos really enhances the sound of the speakers because if u install custom rom the speakers get bad then install dolby atmos driver it gets lot better
I totally agree with you. Dolby Atmos in android devices nowadays appears to be fake and marks its presence just for the sake of its brand value. If you are ever able to get a Lenovo K6 note or a K6 Power, try using its Dolby Atmos and you shall find a HUGE difference in sound quality. Although those phones are now 5 years old bringing it right under the ancestral category of phones as it just features android nougat and a terrible mediateck chipset, its audio was way ahead of its time. There won't be a great difference in the speaker quality but you would love to hear it from any of those headphones from brands like JBL. Infact the equilizer software not only enables us to change the frequencies of bass, mid or treble but also intensifies the audio out of the driver units. A video on it would be greatly appreciated ☺️☺️.
I get a vertical surround effect on certain songs that were mixed in a particular way, using Dolby Atmos movie mode on my Samsung S9. Best example, Bachman Turner Overdrive's Let It Ride, the first guitar solo.
So when you said "I don't know what's the point of this video and who is going to watch it" - is when i decided to give you a like. your hardwork is appreciated by other geeks. we are always learning. Also the amount of comments gave you that answer already. Additionally i feel, Airpods pro as u said did it good and many people would be researching to understand the competition better.
Hello, I have Realme 6 pro which claims it is HI Res and Dolby Atmos. Yes I was disappointed with the sound when watching film on Netflix and Prime Video. No bass and no surround sound feel. Well, I did install several app just to boos the bass. I did not use app's equalizer has it distort the sound. So I uninstalled third party bass booster since it was not working. I did something different. I hooked it up with a Fiio A7 portable headphone amplifier. So with Dolby Atmos on and with the Fiio A7 with bass switch on, what a difference. It became much more punchier and also used KZ in ear monitor earphones the ZST model and the bass was awesome. Then I purchased an expensive headphone amplifier, The Helm Audio DB12 AAA amp THX certified. My goodness, it sounds much clear. Extra oomph. Made watch horror movies sound so detailed. My suggestion is get in expensive headphone amplifier with a bass switch, which I recommend if you under budget, the M-Audio Bass traveler which is forty dollars. So headphone amplifiers and a usb DAC dongle could really improve the Dolby Atmos. I made a lot of experimentation and I'm content with the results. By the way I am not an Audiophile but my ears don't lie to me when it tells me something sounds awesome.
It works good on my phone. I fool around with all the settings. Works good with blue tooth through my stereo. I don't use sports, gaming, etc. much. I do use Smart Audio, music, and the custom EQ. Surround sound setting raises detail, adds a little echo-not so good, but expands the sound stage. What I use it with on my phone is Sony's proprietary blue tooth setting LHDC HD. Both together work great through stereo, headphones, etc.
Thanks for clearing this up. Got a new samsung phone and was wondering if it actually does anything. Had my suspicions that it's just an equalizer. And what makes it even worse is that it increases the volume so much that you don't even notice that it's probably not safe listening at such high volume
You got it right, I'm using it and it just widens the stereo image and pushed up the volume....with higher volume we humans hear more of the high and lower end
Thanks for the video, i own a galaxy s9 and i can't decide about sound quality effects. The uhq upscaler seems to change nothing but dolby atmos definitly make the sound of content louder and clearer so i let it turned on.
Just got an recently iPhone 11, it works. No gimmicks or anything, when the device is on landscape the sound is actually surround and feels immersive. Recently tried it with the Dolby trailers and a few others. This one included
I feel the speakers in phone for Dolby are pointless, because no matter what they are dual speakers and we can't say much difference. But with earphones/headphones,we can definitely notice the sound stage being more clear than without Dolby. Finally glad to see someone who actually care about audio quality in mobile phones!
My experience with dolby atmos on Samsung Note 9 works for me. Hold the phone approximately 10 inches directly in front of your face. It sounds like the bullets and flying objects area coming from rear, overhead and front.
10' doesn't seem right. For any stereo speaker system the best positioning is with the 2 speakers at +30 and -30 degrees from the axial direction of the listener's head, so the phone would have to be very close to your face to give you that full stereo effect, and to fully reproduce any virtualization effects that may be included in your stereo material. But OK, maybe you can get bits and pieces of those effects from farther away and still find it impressive at certain moments.
You will not get the full Atmos experience on a phone, you will need an AVR with a good speaker setup. The phone that claim to have Atmos will decode the file and that is it.
I don't understand what my dolby atmos settings on my phone does, I can only turn it on while I've got headphones on and it just makes stuff louder and sort of maybe better but i can't tell
Honestly sometimes it makes things sound genuinely far left or right sometimes below it's very weird but an awesome experience, how the packed it into a cellphone is dope
Bro first VLC on android does not support Dolby tracks. I'll try the Just(Video) Player. Need movies with track eac3-joc+atmos or ac3, eac3, ac4. For example, I listen to music in Atmos format through headphones in Tidal, it sounds awesome. I am sure that 80% of people buy a smartphone with Dolby Atmos and think that this is another equalizer for the phone and even have no idea how it really works.
@@majoraboy3885 I agree completely.. iphonedo showed comparison with note10+ and it was on par... Let's leave aside the numbers... The only concern is sometimes in dull room the black levels might not be optimal!
I'm making a Windows on Mac video soon, will mention in that. Tl;dr - Unlocks codecs for Windows with that fee you pay, and also unlocks the virtualizer (headphones only) for Netflix for Windows 10. And it works. Yet to try and play some local file.
Hi, don’t underestimate your own work, you made it very clear and we all here enjoyed it . I have a doubt… I listened Apple Music Dolby atmos on my MacBook Pro and it’s noticeable de atmos experience, not that much, but enough to notice it, I listened the same song on my iPhone 12 and it’s noticeable, but if I wear headphones I feel like I lost that sensation, even if Dolby atmos is active on my MacBook and my iPhone… I used sennheiser hd4.40bt… I think the effects will be more immersive with headphones, because bineural sound on RUclips with headphones is amazing,,, can some one explain me what specific specs make more immersive feeling on headphones ? Thanks from Mexico!!
Does the spatial audio work for every video on iphone 11? Or should the video be of the required format in iphone as well to be able to truely experience it?
Please help me because i have Dolby atmos on my phone before but now it gone and that is why my mic audio is low that is why not loud' please help me to activate it on my oppo a7: oreo version.
This was a very informative video and it's the first time I actually kinda heard the object base claim made by Samsung. The only thing I was confused about is that you said the atmos is not about to be used one youtube, Netflix and the other you mentioned; but when I use the same Bluetooth headphones on my laptop which has dolby atmos its amazing and works on RUclips Netflix HBOMAX pandora. So my question is why does it work on my computer which is like the Samsung phone where you just click a button to turn dolby atoms on but it sounds so amazing on my laptop laptop which is like close to 10 years old but sounds like its doing nothing when I use my phone
Very informative video. I am also obsessed with Dolby Atmos. I used Huawei Mate 20 Pro which had Dolby Atmos. Excellent audio and video I found on that phone but due to some display issues I returned it. Still couldn't find that great quality on other phone with same song when tried with few. I feel we need to understand limitations while using it on smartphone. As in day to day life I think with seperate Dolby Atmos decoders we need to use 5.1 or 7.1 speakers then can feel real effect.
Apple music is bass tuned, Tidal gives original files. Tidal is overpriced and lacs a EQ which makes it stupid. A FLAC with Poweramp EQ sounds best. RUclips music has better Algorithm and content overall. I think Sony's DSEE HX makes more sense. Also depends on the audio profile of headphones we use.
Im using poco f1 and there is no dolby atmos in it but it got good bass. But i used samsung and realme with dolby atmos but it doesn't have bass at all while using earphones even after increase low frequency on equilizer. Is there any way to increase bass on realme or samsung
Watched this video with Dolby Atmos on my phone switched on.... The difference it made was making the sound 3D and high volume... I could hear how far and the depth the sounds came from... But, I guess it depends on the content you use too... It has to be high quality❤
I have moto g52 + oppo enco buds both have dollby Atmos , Moto g52 has very clear audio on phone calls and whats app calls it's very loud on music play back With regular earphones or tws vs Dolby Atmos tws i can feel differences in spacial quality , social audio feel for enco buds is remarkable
This is very common in the technology or anything that needs to be sold, whenever something or someone gets a spotlight for doing great everyone wants a piece of that attention so the person or the company decides to use it to thier own advantage and that's how a working gimmick is born.I agree with you being disappointed by Dolby Atmos on Android as it really does very little in terms of service,or maybe dolby is just forced to do little because they wanna sell thier solution and also perfect it at a slower pace. The only thing left to improve in today's smartphone space is clean audio output with immersive experience. And Video codec which apple did best this year
Im using Oneplus 7pro from 1 years brother, But recently i assembled brand new pc to latest spec's. But sound quality is not much good as Oneplus 7 pro...so I installed Dolby acces on PC and used 5 daya trial. Honestly it's better when its enabled...i feels i need to buy it for 800ruppes. But i got the doubt about you said they only optimising the sound. After i watched your video it really helped me to understand about this. Thanks for the valuable information. But still i have a doubt that in pc, equilizer not available to adjust..
Watched it on my Atmos home theatre in 4k. It felt like equal Audio in both left and right channels. I think music is best heard in stereo to me. I never liked spatial audio for music (tried tidal 360 was not that great). I'm glad you explained Dolby Atmos on phones.
RUclips downsamples everything to stereo lol, it’s best for headphones only I'll send you the raw file so you can experience the audio panning and stuff xD But thanks for watching man!!
What were u expecting from Dolby atmos on phones if not biannual audio? As movies and shows r not recorded in biannual audio, Every surround sound tech objective is to convert the 5.1 or 7.1 channel sound into stereo surround sound or biannual audio(the real surround sound) so that it can be enjoyed via headphone. I don't think ur experience is going to be any different on i phone also. Am i missing something? Please let me know.
Virtualisers render normal 7.1 channel audio to binaural in realtime during playback using Head related transfer functions used in virtualizer software to actually emulate that spatial effect than just the normal downsampling of 7.1 to stereo surround. Pre-virtualised audio is basically binaural audio. But since Binaural Audio is not the norm, there needs to be virtualisers that convert normal surround encoded audio tracks to binaural. That's the basic version.
Its really work dude.check some movies in empty room with moving smartphone to one feet distance.Just use the speakers.I have tried with samsung s10 and it works good.Ensure movie is Dolby atmos encoded.
I also forgot to say that I've tried with Bluetooth Samsung bud's ➕ and Bluetooth beats the have an audio jack to connect directly without using Bluetooth and that make no difference either. Thank you so much for making the video I have spend years trying to figure it out for years
Make a video reviewing Dolby Atmos on windows laptop. Especially surface devices. Can I play Dolby Atmos movies on them. And will they give me the true Dolby Atmos experience? Also what about that Dolby acess app for windows. Should I buy it?
Yeah I tried it on my Mac, when I installed Windows on it, it unlocks codec support and virtualizer on Netflix app, so you do get that spatial audio on Netflix with headphones which is awesome. But apparently that dolby atmos badge doesn’t show up for a lot of people. Worked for me Plus Microsoft Edge supports it too!
How can you expect Air Pods to do it in a better way than any Android/iPhone. Even those are 2 tiny speakers and 2 speakers can never emulate what 5-6 speakers can.
Sorry bro but you need to use Motorola and Lenovo phones for best Dolby Atmos Experience i have a Motorola one power and its Sound is just on another level
Firstly the audio quality of this video had that surround sound effect really loved it , also another thing i noticed you were looking towards right side of the frame alot of times i guess it was script ..loved the video..!
Cheers for the explanation. I always wonder whether it's worth having on or not. I tend to just have it on and have my own equaliser settings. I also have Weezer to adjust things and wonder if Atmos just complicates things. It's like I have to have it on because its supposed to be good but reality is that it's just another equaliser, only claiming to be something else!
@kdcloudy you really spoke the truth here on a lot of levels. Really appreciate the depth to which you researched for this. I am an audio engineer who has worked with a bit of Atmos for both Visual content and Music. And this really nails it, busting a lot of myths here. Thanks for putting such valuable content out there!
One question have you used any samsung earbuds on a samsung phone or a aptx buds on a qualcomm phone with dolby atmos? Btw i watched this video with my galaxy buds+ on a samsung galaxy note 20 with dolby atmos enabled and the spatial audio is there.
Dude I have always been wondering how does Dolby Atmos works with mobile devices... I agree with you that it's just a gimmick.. one can't experience true Atmos without the overhead speaker setup not sure if the soundbars can deliver it.. companies gotta stop doing this.. atleast thay could add the Atmos for headphones option so one can experience the virtual audio like in windows 10.. thanks for the video...
I don't know what this guy is talking about. Atmos is amazing on Tidal. Did he pay the full $20 hi-rez tier? You can hear every individual instrument separately. Sometimes appearing to come from different parts of the room. Look up Kanye West (ugh) black klansman. Awesome. And atmos on phones is really only for audio. It's up to the streaming companies. Also recording in 5.1 does nothing since youtube can't play back surround. I'm still baffled that after over 10 years they haven't figured that out.
Yup. I did get the hi-res tier. Tidal's lossless "Master" variants are still really good, don't get me wrong. But that spatial music definitely is throwing off
I thought about that too... Used OnePlus 6, 9R & Realme GT Neo 2 all with Dolby Atmos but the sound is shit when it's compared to DTS Headphone:X enabled phones... Asus 5z had DTS Headphone X & the Spatial sound and sound processing was amazing. You know how..i thought gaana app had good sound processing, until i heard them on OnePlus 6, 9R, Realme Gt Neo 2 & X7 max it sounded shit. It was a whole other story with DTS Headphone X in Asus 5z
Sounds like garbage on my OnePlus 8T with my truly wireless ear buds. All my earbuds and headphones sound amazing on my LG V30, even the mid-range Velvet. LG audio blows away every device I've owned, especially Dolby!! I'm talking flawless sounding, I wouldn't ever buy another device with Dolby anything. Dolby just sounds muddy and distorted af, sucks so bad.
Hope you found this informative!

The voice was a bit echoey for me , just a bit . But other than that the video was top notch 👍🔥
You sound like, someone talking through a hallow pipe 😂.
This is next level bro
U copy MKBHD style
U still dont know the whole story how dolby support works for actual speakers and dolby atmos sound enhancement driver for mobile speakers works
It does provide some dynamic range compression and a bit of stereo widening which are both important to my listening experience. So it's not a gimmick for me.
What transducer devices have you used with your Android phone to make that assessment?
I agree, but for my listening experience crushing dynamic range is a negative
When i listen to music on RUclips, if i enable dolby atmos, the mids and highs get lowered, when i disable dolby atmos, everything sounds more loud and balanced and more fun
That's good for the sudden loud ads that bleed your ears 😂
Hey Bro. It's not pointless. Some people are into this nerdy stuffs as well, including me. Thanks for this video Brother
Elaborate
Dolby atmos overall enhances the
overall vocals
not bass
It gives loud audio
And behind the head sound
Currently using Samsung F22 , it actually works. 🔥
Can it make speaker problem later?? as it enhance the capacity of the speaker
I'm obsessed with multimedia and audio in specific.
Thanks for the great information

Through the Apple TV app, and any mp4 Atmos file which is playable by QuickTime.
MKV files need to be eAC3 and played in Infuse app.
Because youtube supports 5.1 in the browser on a pc.
RUclips App on Android is limited to dual channel which is (stereo) not surround
Yes. Very true. Thanks!
Also depends on the audio profile of headphones we use.
bro mujhe oneplus 8 pro lena hai online lu ya store se lu
Online
Im using poco f1 and there is no dolby atmos in it but it got good bass. But i used samsung and realme with dolby atmos but it doesn't have bass at all while using earphones even after increase low frequency on equilizer. Is there any way to increase bass on realme or samsung
Bro how is your unit now ? OnePlus 8 pro?
Still has Issues? I'm returning and getting another unit.
I don't have it anymore. Refunded.
If I get unit with no issues !
Is this good to keep with me or in future another issues may occur I'm confused. Please clarify me
Is there any way I can listen to 5.1 music, I am searching and cant find anything. Help me out please
Watched this video with Dolby Atmos on my phone switched on.... The difference it made was making the sound 3D and high volume... I could hear how far and the depth the sounds came from... But, I guess it depends on the content you use too... It has to be high quality❤
whoaa! i loved watching this video kd. keep it up man...looking forward for more like these.
I have moto g52 + oppo enco buds both have dollby Atmos ,
Moto g52 has very clear audio on phone calls and whats app calls it's very loud on music play back
With regular earphones or tws vs Dolby Atmos tws i can feel differences in spacial quality , social audio feel for enco buds is remarkable
Can i ask a question? Why my dobly atmos on my p30 phone is not working. Dobly atmos why akways not available in my phone? Please help me thankyou
Wow...The perfect explanation i'm looking for..thank you
Please make a video for one plus buds pro with Dolby Atmos using it with OnePlus phone
Very good info. Do sony xperia smartphones with dolby atmos produce best quality sound, Since latest xperia 1 mark 2 has headphone jack.
Not sure if that makes any difference, they probably don’t have a high quality dac.
I knew it... Sala yeh Marketing stunt hi hai. ATMOS on Phones... Brilliant video
Well android smartphone Dolby Atmos do rely on using earphone.
Like I have felt some real effect on my samsung device
Like how can Dolby Atmos work with only 2 speakers
does dolby atmos increase mic audio volume?
Watched it on my Atmos home theatre in 4k. It felt like equal Audio in both left and right channels.
I think music is best heard in stereo to me. I never liked spatial audio for music (tried tidal 360 was not that great). I'm glad you explained Dolby Atmos on phones.
RUclips downsamples everything to stereo lol, it’s best for headphones only
I'll send you the raw file so you can experience the audio panning and stuff xD
But thanks for watching man!!
@@KDCloudy Please add the raw video link in the description, I'm excited to experience.
Does it work on Apple music on Android devices
Yes
Honestly though it's probably the best equalizer we have.
This has been informative ,love your content bro.+sub
Its really work dude.check some movies in empty room with moving smartphone to one feet distance.Just use the speakers.I have tried with samsung s10 and it works good.Ensure movie is Dolby atmos encoded.
lol it's probably your placebo effect.
What iPhone works with Dolby Audio ?
I also forgot to say that I've tried with Bluetooth Samsung bud's ➕ and Bluetooth beats the have an audio jack to connect directly without using Bluetooth and that make no difference either.
Thank you so much for making the video I have spend years trying to figure it out for years
The amount of work rate that you must've gone thru. Loving the content, Kaustubh! 👌
Thanks Robin!
Worked for me
Plus Microsoft Edge supports it too!
@@KDCloudy How do you know that Netflix's virtualizer works? Does it show in settings or something?
No. I tested Atmos on Windows and non Atmos on my iPad back to back and could feel the difference.
How can you expect Air Pods to do it in a better way than any Android/iPhone. Even those are 2 tiny speakers and 2 speakers can never emulate what 5-6 speakers can.
Have you met HTCs Boom sound? Or Viper4android? They boost the sound regardless.
@@Phil_Jumaa yes I have experienced both.
One word: HRTF (Head related Transfer Function)
does dolby atmos work while I'm on a call?
Nope
That's not pointless..it's actually very very nice that you made this video!
I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching :)
This isn't pointless ..this is the actual thing.. n i really wanted to know how dolby Atmos works in apple 11 series
Sorry bro but you need to use Motorola and Lenovo phones for best Dolby Atmos Experience i have a Motorola one power and its Sound is just on another level
Now a new guy enters into the game which is Dolby Atmos in Apple music.
Firstly the audio quality of this video had that surround sound effect really loved it , also another thing i noticed you were looking towards right side of the frame alot of times i guess it was script ..loved the video..!
Hehe that’s just my own habit xD
But thank you!
I don't have earphone , I got a 100₹ China made earphone from station , it broke yesterday . Sed lyf
Cheers for the explanation. I always wonder whether it's worth having on or not. I tend to just have it on and have my own equaliser settings. I also have Weezer to adjust things and wonder if Atmos just complicates things. It's like I have to have it on because its supposed to be good but reality is that it's just another equaliser, only claiming to be something else!
bro you messed your audio up
@kdcloudy you really spoke the truth here on a lot of levels.
IM USING TWO DOLBY ATMOS MODULES IN PHONE FOR DUAL 7.1 CHANNEL AUDIO 👌🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️🎶🎶🔊🔊
Muje mobaile lena hei dolby Atmos to abhi launch hoga 2021 me
Simple & Clear... Great work Bro....
But that spatial music definitely is throwing off
Make a video reviewing airpods pro's spatial audio when it rolls out.
Haha need so save up for AirPods Pro first xD
@@KDCloudy I need to save for both iPhone and airpods.😅😅😅
Dude how to experience Dolby Atmos in Macboook ?
Apple TV app (needs purchasing or subscribing to TV+)
Or any Dolby Atmos mp4 file playable in QuickTime
Netflix on Safari support could come soon
@@KDCloudy ohh! Okay bro 👍
thanks for this video.I watched it all and it was informative
Glad you like it. Appreciate it!
Dude! Such great and true stuff. Appreciate your work. Cheers, a fellow A/V Nerd
Thank you! Hope you stick around for more AV content!
You should have tried sony 360ra on tidal with hrtf .its way better than Dolby on tidal
I loved the way you tried to Explain the Concept. Loved it bro...Keep Rocking.
Thanks bro
I thought about that too...
Used OnePlus 6, 9R & Realme GT Neo 2 all with Dolby Atmos but the sound is shit when it's compared to DTS Headphone:X enabled phones...
Asus 5z had DTS Headphone X & the Spatial sound and sound processing was amazing.
You know how..i thought gaana app had good sound processing, until i heard them on OnePlus 6, 9R, Realme Gt Neo 2 & X7 max it sounded shit.
It was a whole other story with DTS Headphone X in Asus 5z
So i bought DTS Headphone X for my laptop... it's was Rs.1099/- sounds crazy but damn it changed the sound signature from cheap to beautiful.
samsung uhq (upscaler) give good audio or useless like eq.
Wow excellent content ❤️
Sounds like garbage on my OnePlus 8T with my truly wireless ear buds. All my earbuds and headphones sound amazing on my LG V30, even the mid-range Velvet. LG audio blows away every device I've owned, especially Dolby!! I'm talking flawless sounding, I wouldn't ever buy another device with Dolby anything. Dolby just sounds muddy and distorted af, sucks so bad.
How can you say atmos is better on iphones if youve never tested it out?
Just tested it with iPhone 12. It’s legit spatial audio through the loudspeakers.
I can see the channel blowing up.
Just commenting before the hype train :D
