Bradley, I have the ultimate shower head story for you. Back in 2008, I needed to find a cheap apartment, in a bit of a hurry. And I found it; signed a lease and moved in. Shower heads have never been that big a deal to me, so I didn't check it out, didn't even move the shower curtain aside, until the following morning. I looked down at the spout and taps, trying to find the doo-hickey to switch the water flow to the shower head. Then I looked up, from one end of the tub to the other, and back again before it dawned on me that my new home had no shower. Lesson for the day: Never mistake the presence of a shower curtain as proof of a shower behind it.
Best of luck Bradley. I kind of like the roughness of this. Reminds me of the first vids of yours from back when I first started watching your channel a decade ago… had just started my pipe smoking hobby. The future is bright.
I agree with you about moving. I hate almost every aspect of it. The one thing I like about moving is getting rid of things I realize I no longer need. It's easy to keep things you no longer want nor need if they can sit in a closet or box unnoticed. Moving forces me to decide if I actually want/need things I haven't seen nor used in however-long, and I always feel lighter and more energetic after I offload many of those things.
Bradley, I found your site when researching the Schott 613. I, I, I, can't explain it. It got to me! Great video, and spot on Brando voice over. My wife and I watch that video at least once a week. Nice work. I'm catching up on your other videos; all well thought out and nice, easy, relaxed delivery. Concerning all the episodes going on in your life's orbit, I leave you with a stanza from T.S. Eliot's Little Gidding: We shall not cease from exploration, And the end of all our exploring, Will be to arrive where we started, And know the place for the first time. "Take it easy, but take it". W. Guthrie
Good Evening 😊 Glad you are doing well 🙏🏽 Awesome Buddy👌🏽Thanks for the update and chat 👏🏼 Have a wonderful week ahead 🙏🏽 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Bradley, we are getting old man. I was feeding my fish tank the other day and threw my back out lmao. It happens. Glad you're doing better and got moved, only up from here!
Nothing really to add this week, but glad to hear things are coming together. I have been very busy because I started a new job. And I realised that I'll be working like 30 days in a row this month between multiple jobs. And I still have other companies banging on my door! The Golden Week break will be much needed, and I will have to brace myself until then.
Bradley 😊🌱 I love the organic 🌱 video feel, it feels...Nice. I still use a context word you spoke of a few years ago. That word to which I have adopted within my vocabulary is... "Cognizance" All the Very Best! Mac. Omaha, Nebraska 🌽✨
The last time I moved I almost lost my damn mind. I thought we had everything out of the house and people just kept carrying stuff out. I started laughing like Tom Hanks in The Money Pit when the bathtub falls through the floor.
RE contemplative: Reminds me of Mike Myers saying, "You've put the em-PHAS-is on the wrong syl-LAB-le." I've heard it both ways. Moving sucks, even when it's a good thing, never mind when it's not. I hope your new place feels more and more like home to you as you get more settled. 🙂
@@stuffandthingsyoutube I was too lazy to google it when I wrote the comment. "View from the Top" (2003) Romcom with Gwyneth Paltrow. She plays a stewardess chick and there's a bunch of other actors I forgot that are in it. The quote is in the trailer. 🙂
Glad you’re getting settled in Bradley. I must be wrong but I thought your studio space was the same one from when you were at the original apartment. Come to think of it I’ve not heard a train or someone weed eating in a while. I’m confident you’re contemplating a comfortable place to continue… 😂
I always add a flow control valve (mariner’s valve) to my shower so I can save water. Just remember you don’t have to smoke in your pipe videos indoors. I s on walks.
Truly the ONLY thing I enjoy about a Move is the de-cluttering. That's it. Otherwise I hate it. The excitement of a new place is cool but the process of nesting in is very love/hate for me if it doesn't go well. You wouldn't be willing to share where you got your Brass Fixtures would you? I also loathe the showers in Hotels.
Moving is certainly a b--h, glad it worked out, new beginnings…🎉. Funny, I live close to downtown too, but just on the outside, a great proximity🌲🌲🍀. (Funny, I last moved in 2021 July, and after 2 days of hard work and sweat, spent 2 hrs looking for my underwear in the chaos to take a simple shower, it was so annoying, but finally found them😂)
As for shower heads you would probably have died if you saw the one in my apartment when I was living in Mexico. Nothing wrong with it per say but the shower was basic to be sure. I don't think the shower head had been replaced since the building was constructed. That thing was on there. Again there was nothing wrong with it but it wasn't new or shiny to say the least. I just had to get used to not being as fussy as I might be in my home country 😂
@@stuffandthingsyoutube Oh yes I know what you mean. There's nothing more annoying than lame water pressure. In fairness it did the job quite well. In Mexico they use gravity tanks on the roof for the sake of simplicity and cost effectiveness so it was feeding from massive tanks on the roof. Water pressure wasn't too bad.
Good to see you doing alright, Bradley! All the best for arriving in your new home, even if it's only temporary. I totally can relate to getting edgy and annoyed due to having to rearrange everything that was so comfortable and practical. Hope you manage to cope well and soon. Best, Michael :-)
I'm interested in that coffee mug thing you're drinking out of. What brand and stuff is it? Is it Stanley? I love Stanley, got a Beer Stein with a lid which I use for all my Beer. It's Awesome!
It's a "Klean Kanteen." I had the old version of their coffee thermos for years. This is the newer version. Love it. www.kleankanteen.com/collections/insulated-water-bottles/products/insulated-coffee-tumbler-tkwide-20oz?variant=37914578288835
Bradley...pleased to see that you're settling in and beginning to again find your way. Here's a version of that piece that you referenced in your video, "So oft ich meine Tobackspfeife" ("As often I use my tobacco pipe"). The Netherlands Bach Society is consistently excellent: ruclips.net/video/-TptHQCmBM4/видео.html
#askstuffandthings Do you have a local T shop you can link up with that allows indoor S'ing to do pipe videos? It maybe an option. Much love from The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts.

Ouch! No shower at all is rough. I haven't had a bath since I was a small child. I can't imagine being without a shower.
@@stuffandthingsyoutube Rough, indeed. I felt like Oliver Douglas on "Green Acres" after he bought that house from Mr. Haney. But, I survived.
Glad you are doing well
Cheers!
I just hope I can still hear the motorcycles and trains!
But seriously, I wish you the best.
There should be lot's of train action at the new place. Haha.
Best of luck in the future Bradley and thank you for the years of great content.
Thank you so much!

Haha! I'm glad you liked it. I cringed at the quality! Should be using the good camera and mic next week though.
Glad to hear you found place ! Good having you back ! Appreciate your videos! Look forward to many more !
More to come!
I feel for you man. Moving is the death of hope! My dog hates it even more than me. He freaks out if I even move a piece of furniture a few inches.
Smart dog.

Exactly. I was able to weed out a lot of unneeded stuff.
Glad you found a place Bradley! And do not stress the vid & mic quality. It felt like a "throw back" video!
Haha. Yeah, I know it isn't really as important as I think it is sometimes.
Peace, health and happiness to you Bradley. Keep looking forward buddy. 🙏
Proud of you, buddy. You're the man.
Cheers!

I've recently had to move because of some drastic changes in my life. It wasn't easy, but it's getting easier, as I'm sure it will for you too

I just got done with a move, and I agree, it sucks no matter why and how.
Same here... shower head. But I like the really big ones and I like to remove the flow restriction thing.
Let's go!

I thought his studio was a rented spot somewhere around his old apartment if that’s what you’re saying. I could’ve sworn he said that in another video
It was a friend's basement originally!

Think about reviewing Peterson University Flake, please?
You wait, you're going to want that chair now 😂

How about in shackles and orange jumpsuits?

I'll be honest with you...if it was unfiltered Camels I might compose a song about them, but don't tell anyone, please.
Btw. I’m smoking Samuel gawaiths Balkan flake. A tobacco I’m not aware you’ve reviewed. It’s terrific. Give it a try if you can find it.
I haven't yet!
Hi Bradly please review the erinmore tobacco pipe

How did Conan and Subotai make out btw?
Haha. They don't seem to have noticed the change of venue at all. I can't believe how spry they still are.
Well Hello!
Sounds like you are in the right direction. Please read " the rational male" book. You will be well informed to move forward.
