I took my M340i Touring to the Isle of Man for the TT last weekend. Was getting 40mpg in eco pro on the way there, but one on the Mountain course, was pushing 120mph uphill. This car is an amazing all rounder.
Owned an M340i for about 1.5 year here in the UK . X drive here. Bloody insane. Sleeper- although I put quad exhausts/front splitter/rear diffuser/rear spoiler on it haha MPG is crazy good. Comfortable. 5 perfect seats. My daily driver to work- commute 30 mins either way 5 days a week. Do not get a full fat M car as a daily. Especially in this climate. GET IT !!
I’ve owned many Bmw’s including full M cars but my M340i is by far the best BMW I’ve ever owned. It provides performance, practicality, luxury, and economy all in one vehicle.
I just bought a brand new 22' 340 xdrive with sapphire metallic black, black rims, extended shadowline, and cognac seats with the oak trim. Picking it up Wednesday!! It's such an awesome car!!
All facts. I got 37mpg on a 400 mile round trip in my recently purchased CPO 2020 M340i XDrive. That was mostly highway but included some traffic and suburban driving. Without the traffic and suburbs, it might have been 40mpg. It's smooth, quiet, efficient, and comfortable when you want it to be then you put it in sport mode and it becomes an AWD rocket with awesome handling. It's the best combination of speed, efficiency, all season capability, features, style, passenger and cargo capacity on the road imo.
Absolutely LOVE my 2021 M340i XDrive! It’s the perfect daily! Gobs of power, super comfortable, all-weather capable, space for the family, all the gadgets, and insanely good gas mileage! I average 34-40 mpg on my 26 mile trip to and from work with half of it being on city streets and through traffic. Secret is actually NOT using Eco mode as it hyper miles in Comfort mode. Have even gotten over 500 miles on a tank at times!
@@Kerrydeez That's awesome, didn't know they would be adding more custom options. Anything in particular that you liked the best that we should know about?

330 I do agree is the more reliable and more cost effective one. I personally had one and felt it was enough power for the daily drives, it was the best commuter car.
I would do it. You’ll get a great value for your trade and the m340i is a great step up and will retain its value much more in the long run. Also with the current market conditions it’s worth trading in used and buying new.
I had a 2016 340i XDrive that I had special ordered. Loved it. Now I have a 2021 M340i XDrive. The tech, power, and gas mileage are all greatly improved but the biggest difference is it’s ride over abrupt bumps, etc. The new G20 chassis is light years better than the F30 chassis. So much more solid.
I would, hands down, go with the m340i. F80 is excellent, obviously more potent from a rolling start, and looks more aggressive. But other than that, the M340i will beat it in every way. From a dig, it has xdrive. Better gas MPG. More practical. Sounds way better if you get the M Exhaust on it. More confidence when you're driving it hard. Lastly, it is way more up-to-date with the technology with major ones such as apple car play, etc.
@@BeamerView see I was leaning more towards the m340i due to its newer and all it has to offer, but the f80 has all the sport/sport+ options as in dampening, steering, etc. And I was looking more for some spirited driving, being behind an M machine, i also don’t know if the m340i offers all of that
