The privacy mode (camera lens is hidden), can it be scheduled, for example to be hidden when the house is occupied and open when the house us vacent ir during the night?

Yes you can. There is an option called 'Smart' in the tapo app.There you can create automations like that. You can schedule the camera to enable privacy mode on specific time. Also there other automation options like sending custom notifcations when it detects motion or if light is on in the room (only if you have tapo smart light) etc...
