    Ok, but using this method only in cubic system indexing can be carried out. What about other lattices?

      Search the charts on google for miller indices. These are standard values. just like 3 have 111 value.
      we can also use manual representation. Read miller indices topic, if u didn't get the answer yet.

    why dint you used ratio 1? Ratio 2 has a 7 so its understood but why not ratio 1?

    For ratio 3,i get negative value.........,please help me

      If ratio one value is positive then the ratio 3 must also be positive check your procedure again repeat
