A beautiful guitar, but none of the tonal versatility of a good low-wind, vintage style PAF in either pickup position. These guitars have a nice acoustic chime and Tele snap, but you’ll never hear it through those pickups. Honor the guitar- put some vintage output PAF style humbuckers in there, and bring this guitar to life.

Maybe someday I’ll spend equal to my entire investment in this guitar in order to upgrade the pickups!
