@@DenisExgardian yes the whole game sounds amazing, especially taking into account the limitations of the master system psg. Just shows how much of a genius Yuzo really is!
I think Batman Returns might be the movie with the highest number of different game adaptations there is! SNES, NES, Sega genesis, Master System, PC, Atari Lynx... they all differ from each other.
Watching this again, what an awesome game this is. The ability for Batman to use his bat boomerang, glide, grapple, swing and more. Even his Batman walk is done in a way respectful of the Dark Knight approaching his enemies. Very cool and I wish I had played this on my SMS years ago.
This was one of my first games along with sonic the hedgehog and castle of illusion starring Mickey mouse I'm from the UK so the master system was very popular over here I didn't even know who Nintendo was until the Game boy and Pokémon 😂
@@HollowRick That's cool. Yes, I still have my Sega Master System in the US, and wish it had the success it did over there and in South America. Genesis became their focus for Sega by 1989. Great console too. My original 1989 still works after all those years. Same with the SMS. Great consoles.
Only good thing about Sega cd version are the driving stages and music. There should of used this game side scrolling stages instead of the genesis game
blue/black/grey/whatever = batman is faster yellow = batarangs are faster, stronger and have a longer range in distance red/orange/whatever = gives you an extra life
Never played the master system version, but the game gear version is identical. This game was always one of my favorites. Also, the music and sound effects have that shinobi vibe to it.
This looks great. Kinda has elements of the nes batman and the 8 and 16 bit home micro batman games (albeit without driving stages). Gonna give this a whirl
@@nakano15It's a character that can offer interesting and dynamic boss fight mechanics. If deviating from the most common lore conventions can bring those to the game and make it better, why not go with it?
Nossa como a sega era inferior a Nintendo na época de 80, 90, e 2000 os jogos do master sistem eram horríveis. E o nintendinho extremamente fantásticos.
The music of the first level is awesome ✌🏻
Yeah that's true 100%👌👌👏👍
100%
Sounds like castlevania mixed with ninja gaiden and streets of rage
Yes... music by Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, the same composers of the Streets of Rage soundtracks

Game gear too
@@vladimirlong7125 Yeah but Gamegear version is identical to Master System.
@@solarbubble703 it's not! Look closely, in game gear version you have health bar, levels have different structure and other small changes
@@alexvolt9394 Don't forget about the extra cut scenes as well
Mega cd too

One of my favorite games that I found in the past 2 years.
Same! I never played it back in the day but it's one of my favorite sms games now
I still have my Game Gear cartridge of this game. It's one of the best games for the system.
This takes me straight back to happy times loved this game as a kid this is even better than the Mega CD version.
Only good thing about Sega cd version are the driving stages and music. There should of used this game side scrolling stages instead of the genesis game
Yeah, unfortunally that game sucked. SNES-version was awesome, but was Konami.
Yuzo Koshiro music :)
The Sega came Gera and SMS versions were developed by Ancient.
My gift from Christmas 93!
I miss this days.
Joguei muito em 1992 com 8 anos de idade, e jogo até hoje 😊❤
I had this game for *Game Gear.*
I had to swing so much time, I wasn't sure if I was playing a Batman game, or a Spider-Man one.
Batman returns is Legendary and Amazing on
The master system with stunning graphics and gameplay
This game is my childhood
A master system mini with this in would be good this looks really good.
His walk is so casual
I can't remember what the different bat symbol powerups meant
blue/black/grey/whatever = batman is faster
yellow = batarangs are faster, stronger and have a longer range in distance
red/orange/whatever = gives you an extra life

Master System's later games were nothing short of special.
Loved all the musics when I was kid
My childhood 👍
Awesome gameplay, but it could have been even better if all enemies were killed and levels were played in route 2, which is harder.
WAs trying my best to place the music from the first stage. Then i realized that it was from Simon's Quest and that's why it sound so familiar.
Remember me so the sound effects of Simon's quest on Nes and a little for the music.
the master system version of batman returns was pretty good, I remember the furthest I got was stage three.
Looks more fun than the Batman Genesis game based on the first movie. Reminds me of Bionic Commando with the grappling hook ability. Cool Batman game.
This looks great.
Kinda has elements of the nes batman and the 8 and 16 bit home micro batman games (albeit without driving stages).

I still play this However on raspberry pi these days. Loved this game as a kid with Alex Kidd and Wonderboy in monster world.
Why does the first level music reminds me of Castlevania?
Right 😂😂✌
GG Shinobi ( I & II )
Why was there a Batman Returns for the Master System but not a Batman?
There is Batman 89 for NES.
@@RNgamervideos So? There was a Batman Returns for the NES also.
"You're not the mayor"
Aren't a lot of the sound effects straight out of the Master System version of Shinobi?
Nostalgia
Da minha época 💯👏🏻😃
Shinobi vibes
Blue ninja 😆
Seria perfeito se tivesse pelo menos umas 15 fases, jogo muito bom.
Не совсем понял, как ты так легко забираешься с края блока наверх?
I loved this game ❤❤❤❤🕹️
Better then the genesis version
What is this you are playing on? I love old shit from the 90's.
Route 1 is easy but route 2 super difficult.
ok so I have the Sega Master when I play Sega Game Gear Batman Returns because it's the same thing.
ScareScraper Totals of F4 23:41 Penguin Toad
did you really finish with 52 lives?!
good video, you can play "Matt Hoffmann´s PRO BMX"
Why those old Batman games almost always has a boss fight against the Cat Woman? Aren't they buddies or something?
Ever watched Batman Returns?
Yeah, but that's one movie. Meanwhile, many games...

Too.. much.. blue.. everywhere..
очень крутая игра!!!

Machanarium
💯👏🏻
I would say this game beats the nes version, it's easier gameplay
GG Version is best game then SMD Version
