  • It's a dream for Louis Rees-Zammit to represent his country at a Rugby World Cup. His blistering speed and eye for the try line, give him the attributes to shine on the global stage in the red of Wales.
    But the question stands. Has he got what it takes to go beyond legends of the game? Bryana Habana (South Africa), Jona Lomu (New Zealand) and Julian Savea (All Blacks) have all scored eight tries in a single tournament. Can the welsh speedster go for nine in 2023?

    As a Welshman and a Welsh rugby fan, I believe in never say never , it's all speculation I'm not saying anything ,wait and see. Louis Rees Zammit is one brilliant player his ability as a player and that is speed he is quick. And to hear from rugby greats like Bryan ,Rob , Drew and our Shane, nothing but praise for Louis, I do think he is good for Welsh rugby. I wish Good luck to Louis and the Wales team. ❤🏉👍

    It's possible he could. He's good enough to do it. Just a question of if the opportunities present themselves

    This bullshit Wales are much improved since Georgia game and could beat Australia to. Don't forget Wales played Pivac's style for over 3 Years so technically they can play a open game as well as a structured game and so they could have alot more strings to there bow then people think. And maybe the Pivac's style was not a waste of time i the long term. Let's see how Wales V SA go first .

    Owen needs to be suspended. Why does George Moala with a clean record gets banned while Owen has a very long history of dangerous tackles and multiple red cards get a pass?

    Honest question: Zammit plays for Gloucster, so why is he allowed to play for Wales?
    Rhys Webb (who was no. 1 scrumhalf at time) had way more caps but he was rulled out when he moved to play in France.

    • @cheesyshark1746
      @cheesyshark1746 Год назад +4

      My understanding is that any uncapped eligible player can play regardless of where their club is until their current contract ends. At which point they need to sign a contract with a Welsh region to stay in contention or have enough caps (was 60 now down to 25). Zammit is still on the same contract from when he debuted and now has 25 caps so can resign with Gloucester if he wants. When Webb signed to move to France he would have been eligible to play still because the 60 cap rule hadn't been introduced but then he got punished once it was introduced. Therefore he couldn't play until he returned to the ospreys

    U guy’s talking like Fiji will allow this guy to run easy. Yes he scored a try against an unfit Fiji team who only have a week together. Folks are sleeping on this Fiji team. Wales will get destroyed in the 1st game on the World Cup .
