  • First time hearing Karnivool - Roquefort
I'm always looking for new music! Big fan of metalcore, metal in general, EDM, most rock from mid-80s through today - almost anything besides country and rap. Thanks for watching.

They have a different version you should check out whether it be privately or review it integrates empire horns into it. Adds a nice layer of you dig horns.

I like horns a lot, grew up around lots of jazz and concert ensembles. Thanks for the recommendation!

Crazy that this album was 17 years ago. Im going to 3 of their UK shows in May. Wouldn't mind if they played this or C.O.T.E.

Yeah I understand why bands don’t want to play their old stuff sometimes but cmon - indulge the people!

Best reactions! Always going in depth on the music. I think tuning wise Karnivool uses a hybrid between Drop B and Standard tuning. Pretty ingenious.

Thanks so much man I love doing this. I definitely used the wrong term there though - I meant “tone” and not “tuning” - I definitely don’t know enough about tuning or keys to elaborate on it!

You should listen to Opeth if you haven't yet. They are kings of transitions, have melodic parts and insane riffs! Ghost of perdition, Harlequin forest, deliverance are good prog songs to start off with. Their Damnation album is all mellow.
