- Made our way to Jeff Thomas's race at Wagler in IN. Jeff's races are always filled with heavy hitters and the top of the crop. Although we were super excited for this event, it seems like Ol Firebird wasn't. Running into problems left and right. Def time to step back and give her the attention she needs

I would definitely take a break and fix the car right and spend some time with family, have a baby come back about September when you get better Air and it's not so hot. Time to get the cars finished up, pull some bandages off and fix the root causes. Get your race trailer fixed up, cleaned up, stocked with parts and fluids.
Take on some extra work on to fill the war chest up too.
And most importantly get ready for Henry's eviction 🤣

I think it's time for a complete teardown and start from completely bar metal and fram. And go through the frame and everything. My wife's grandma was like those are the wrong doors cause you can see around the edges. She asked me if we ever raced and I said no he's really fast. I told her I do 8 deconds 1\8 mile and she has seen me race since I was 16 and then when me and Jesse reconnected. She loves going to Drag races and watching Jesse race (Daily Driver and small tires)

You know you can take one of them little orange heaters they sells I think their baby like 10 by 8 or something and I don't know if they're for nitrous bottles I can't remember but they do have a sticky thing and you just put on the bottom of the of your pan you can try that and heat up your oil that way before you go out just plug it into the charger food for thought

Hey Ryan you should have done what I did and make sure you have one anniversary for everything. My wife and I have the same anniversary for everything. Our first date 12/4/98 got Pre-Engaged 12/4/99 engaged 12/4/00 and married 12/4/04. She will never catch me slipping and forgetting one of our anniversaries and I planned it that way.

Hearing that diff grinding after that pass brought 1978 back to me, we were if F/mp at the time and decided to try 7:17 to see what we could gain, they didn't even last though time trials, we were still going about 125/128 in the 1/4 those days and the freaking thing was grinding away, didn't even take the cover off, right on the trailer and went to the house, totally sketchy !

That really sucks for someone who is putting up the money for a large 64 car shootout that's normally a huge success and hire a person to promote it which results in 25 cars showing up!!! With how killer small tire no prep racing is in 2024 you should have 64 fast cars and another 64 cars pissed off because they didn't make the cut to the race.. what a real disappointment for the guy putting it on and any sponsors involved.. sounds like it's going to be time to cut out the wannabes and part timers for those who are putting together these killer races..
