It feels weird in hindsight that April is so chill about letting rats get merked by those robots. I understand they're normal rats but given how April is buddies with Splinter later, it's kinda offputting.

The second cominc changes a lot from the original one. The original one was way more darker and aggressive. I felt that in this second one they made the turtles less violents and more similar to their future 1987 Toy Cartoon.
Also my respects to have this comic, is pretty rare to have it, thanks for share it.
This is totally movie material, they should use this the original comics for the new movies and a new animated tv series.
That April for the moment was not as beautiful as the 1987 version. Also she said she had computer abilties, hope we see it later.
The personalities here are more similar to the future, except for Mike. Is the Turtle so far in this second comic we don't know exactly a characteristic of his personality.
No spoilers, but that Baxter could be not human, and could be an Utron, probably the first Krang?
Mike's personality has always been an mature empathetic fun loving guy in the comic. In mirage he was never labeled as a goofy party dude. I don't know why threw out the franchise changed that
The turtles were still aggressive after story 1. Still had blood and violence. Something that the toy cartoon doesn't

Exactly. I dont know why the mirage comics get overlooked as just being overly dark. The tone gets really similar to what some of the shows and movies have most of the time after the first issue.

Fun Fact: The 2003 Version of the TMNT Show got the same Idea.
its cool seeing how the 1990 movie and 89 cartoon took things, scenes, elements here and there from the original comics, genius who said hey lets make them more fun loving/kid friendly, wow....i will get these comics the originals one day and on :) been a fan since the 89 cartoon and 90 movie and all the toys :)

Very cool, the only thing I had a problem with was April's voice because you can tell that it was a guy sounding like he had breathed helium although, most likely, it was done on a computer with audio editing software. You should have gotten a girl to voice her but, other than that, not bad.
Stockman on the other hand, DAMN! His voice was spot on and the actor is really good. I enjoyed him emmencely.

Yeah April's voice is just mine with the pitch turned way up lol But just so you know I would love to have someone actually do the voice for April but it's just kinda hard to come by voice actors these days so I just work with what I got because if I waited forever for someone to do April's voice these things would take even longer to come out. So yeah thanks for the feedback man hopefully I can actually find someone to voice April otherwise it's just gonna be old helium voice April until I do lol -Scott86

Hey what's up you guys my name is Everett and I'm visually impaired completely I really love these comics and thank you so much for making them Scott I do have a question for anybody who's listening to this or who's going to read this does anybody know where I can get the necklet 2008 Mirage Turtles they were released in 2008 and they came in blister cards and they all came with pieces to build a diorama my apologies for the text of the voice if it comes out weird it's not me it's cuz my phone has voice over what I meant to say was that they were made by Neca toys there was a April O'Neal released and a Mauser 3 pack

It's a shame we never got to see mousers in live action. I never read the comics but they were so iconic in the animated series and especially the arcade game.

We are gonna do 3 eventually,they just take a while to make. There's 62 issues in the original series. We are gonna do em all just might be a bit lol
@@Scott86 Thank you, lol... Wasn't Casey Jones in the next 2 parts? It was loosely based on the fire at April's family shop and they were basically all chased out of town by the Foot Clan left overs - similar to the movies, which got it from these comics!

Yeah I'm just gonna stick with classic black and white cause I think the color ones only goes up to issue 10 or something. But yeah the color ones are nice looking for sure tho man!

Awesome man thanks!! Now if you could just find me a reliable voice actor to voice her then we are all set lol I can't get a female to do voice overs to save my life man believe me I've tried.. I mean don't get me wrong I have had female voice talents before for The Walking Dead but they are usually pretty hard to come by and only stick around for an issue or two, so i just work with what i got ya know? The drastic difference between the comics and cartoon blows me away! April and Stockman were black and that changed why? She was a computer programmer not a reporter. She met them in the sewer not an alley. Stick to the script.
April isn't black tho. Everything else you said very true tho lol

@@Soapy699 but the 2003 episode is so similar to the comic issue despite the differences , the show made it far better than the comic episode
