This is the re-upload, I had to redo the whole video because of some additional information and processing errors. If you know of any additional ways to find this info, on a Chromebook, let us know below.
I have a very specific question. I purchased a chromebook on Cyber Monday and i received it late last week. Long story short once i received it I wanted to play steam games. After finding your channel i was able to install linux and steam to my chromebook. Now I am unable to install the game I wanted off steam due to disk space being not available. I bought a USB drive and for the life of me i cannot figure out how to install the game onto the USB drive. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?
Eevnos so my Chromebook has a Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3350 @ 1.10GHz is that a good CPU? or is there better CPUS right now and is there a specific website that I can check how old is my Chromebook and all that stuff by using my serial number?
@@Eevnos k thanks for the advice, I’m happy with my chrome book but I’m just trying to push the limit of DOOM engine gzdoom with brutal doom mod and it runs and a lot of times smooth and it’s surprising because a chromebook it’s not that powerful but then there is a lot of lag when you kill enemies and I tried a lot to fix the issue but i couldn’t use the perfect settings, so I was thinking of upgrading my CPU so it could run better but I wasn’t sure, oh well I guess I will stick to my CPU thanks anyway 😁
Can you please tell me if these 2 processors are similar or is one much better than the other...AMD Radeon R5 vs Mediatek MT8183. *I don't do any video editing, just basic web surfing, RUclips videos, online banking, etc. I'm looking at 2 different models of a new Lenovo Chromebook...one model has the AMD processor with updates through June 2026, the other has the Mediatek processor with updates through June 2028. The AMD processor is $179 with a touchscreen, backlit keyboard, and a 250 NITS screen. The Mediatek is also a touchscreen but has NO backlit keyboard with a 300 NITS screen and that is $219.
I wish there was a normal task manager for chromebooks like the windows one because if something freezes you pretty much have to shutdown the entire chromebook
@@Eevnos I know that but it's kinda basic and if a linux or android app freezes you have to shutdown the entire vm and sometimes it messes things up. And I like the performance tab in windows.

Hey.. there’s almost always something newer, so I wouldn’t worry about that.
If the Chromebook does everything you want then it’s new enough. 😉

There's one that comes up when you press Search+Esc... is that what you're looking for?
