5:17 Huh, weird. The game that I bought recently didn't have an inner circle token. The instructions inside just said to place Inner Circle cards off to the side. 5:56 Also the troop tokens in my game are just that: tokens. They aren't miniatures or pieces or anything like that.
Good video but 2 things you need to improve on : 1. Need better lighting for the board (there are a lot of shadows) 2. Need to speak louder and/or have a better mic because the audio is very low. If you can address these 2 things i think your videos would be great!
Thanks for the feedback. The lighting is not a problem I adjust lighting in post production and I think I just took it down to far so I can fix that easily. I can also up the volume on the videos and I am going to start editing background sounds out as well which should help with the volume as well. Again thanks for the constructive feedback and thanks for watching.
good video, but I am still unsure about something, how many cards can you play each turn, are there any restrictions, because the rules say one card, same with actions, how many can you do?
Rule book page 8 says: "During your turn, do the following any number of times and in any order you choose:" So you can play all the cards in your hand, and take all the actions you can afford with the resources generated.
I was using Mayday premium game sleeves, but it got too expensive due to the sheer number of games I have. I have not tried Shield sleeves so I can't say if they are any good or not.
Nice video, just found ur channel, and I'm really interested in some of your previous videos. Learn to play videos are REALLY USEFUL, since learning new rules is THE biggest bane of boardgaming! However 2 bits of feedback: 1. Video bit too dark (as mentioned by someone else ) 2. Your voice is too monotone in this video, it's hard to keep paying attention - u need to make ur tone more exciting, change pace + volume from time to time, sprinkle some humour - many different things that attract attention + aid concentration. I recommend watching a learn to play video by "Shut up + sit down" just as an example. I know for a fact that if I got my group to watch ur video before our first game, several of them will say they could not maintain concentration. I hope u don't take thus personally, it is meant as constructive feedback. Cheers, Sal
Thanks for the feedback. I will defiantly look at different ways to add spice to the video and try to find ways to be less monotone. I am not offended I am always looking for feedback on my videos and ways to improve them. I am glad that you found the video useful and please continue to give feedback on any videos of mine you watch.
Is it so that you can wait untill the end of the turn to Promote? Don't you have to promote when you play the card that has the promote action on it? So that if you play promote as your second card in the hand you must promote the first one? Also, do you HAVE to promote when you play a Promote card? :)
Thanks for the question, I went back and checked some of the cards that instruct you to promote and most of them state at the end of your turn promote one of the cards you used. You can't promote the promote card unless you have played two cards this turn that allow you to promote in that case you can choose one of them to promote. I did see a game at Origins this year were a guy almost promoted himself out of a game:).

They did a reprint a little while back and replaced some of the components to make the game cheaper.
You have the recent version. The rules are the same, but components and layout of the rulebook is a bit different.
Also this was the only video that explained in a so good way. Others over complicate things. You make it so easy. Thank you.
You're very welcome! Thanks so much for the feedback and for watching.

Do you use shield to protect the cards?
I was using Mayday premium game sleeves, but it got too expensive due to the sheer number of games I have. I have not tried Shield sleeves so I can't say if they are any good or not.
