Hard Mode is longer and if you think that’s crazy, just wait till I do Expert. I was going to go for a no-death run and it was nearly flawless but Andross. Andross took me down and if you lose to him, you got to do it all over again. Having the health special power is ESSENTIAL for beating the higher difficulties. No joke. I usually go with the Shield Special Weapon, it works better for me overall when I fight Andross, also you can cheese the fighter squads. with Nova Bombs as soon as the fight starts, but the thing I hate the most of Hard and Expert modes, is one of the Hunter bosses that can appear. Also word of advice, if you use either Miyu or Fay in Expert, KEEP an eye on their health meter, because they can die too quick if you're careless because almost everything does either x1.5 or x2 damage, even Slippy and Peppy can get destroyed too fast as well despite having the Health Regen. Special Weapon by default.
Honestly, I think they could have done a better job with the level design. Practically all of them have the same objective where you go inside a base and destroy an energy core.
Well for that time it was probably awesome. Games back then were very repetetive. I compare this to the beloved Wing Commander which was great but still more repetetive than this game here
there's already some people at Forums that already got all the pepper coins in all difficulties and finished them with the Secret Rank, which also unlocks early Twin Lasers for each Arwing you used to finish the game. and if you get a Secret Rank with all characters, you will get the Classic Corneria Theme at the Pilot Select Screen. oh, and getting all Pepper Coins in all difficulties also gets you a new Title Screen.
I can confirm that's true, I already did that, I hope I can do a little footage of the secret base area soon (once I get either a capture card or I get all coins on a single difficulty on a PC emulator)

Macbeth is a lava planet in the SNES games. But starting StarFox 64, its now Solar that's a lava planet.
Man if there is only one thing I can remember about this game is the amount of pews it takes to take out your targets XD! Keep it up Jose!

anybody has footage of the Secret base you get for collecting all Pepper Coins in each difficulty?
