Is this an official Affinity tutorial? I watched the ones that came with the program "help" and your tutorial is far better than any of them. They seriously need to hire you if they didn't already.
Aboustly the best RUclips for Affinity. I have watched many videos in the last year and purchased a few books. This has a lot of information and easy to understand. I also like the fact that you don't have to watch someone trying to be funny or cute. This is something you will keep and watch over and over.

This was a great tutorial. As a recently unemployed designer due to this whole convos thing, I no longer have access to the Adobe suite that was being supplied by my former place of employment. Instead of paying for my own monthly subscription, I decided to find Adobe alternatives which lead me to the Affinity suite. I thought I was just going to be able to dive right into Photo with my Photoshop knowledge and be creating with no issues. Wrong. 🤣 It's does a few things different and I was lost. I'm glad I found this tutorial. I see that this is truly a powerful Photoshop alternative and I'm looking forward to learning more about it and the rest of the suite. I've just stubbed you.

0:55 If you want to creat new file with the Clipboard dimensions like in Photoshop, you have to select File > New From Clipboard. 4:15 You can also zoom with Space+Ctrl like in Photoshop with one difference, you HAVE TO press Space first. 5:35 The Develop Persona is unfortunately very limited compared to Photoshop. No per-channel HSL dials, and many of the corrections, like Saturation and Vibrance, are capped really tiny amounts. 11:08 Rectangular Marquee Tool (and others) don't have the Photoshop functionality, where you can position the selection by holding Space as you draw it. Makes every operation with it take twice as long.

2 things jump out to me as soon as I worked with this Affinity Photo there is no "revert" just a really missed action there also the "save as" is missing to save as a jpg or any other file you want to save as. You have to export if you want to save as a jpg its really extra steps and annoying. This software needs work to get it up to speed with simple tasks like revert and save as. Such simple things like this have me wondering if I should buy it?

Not talking about the file management part or the batch stuff, or anything else, just the actual image editing / tweaking part.
DOES THIS WORK WITH TOUCH SCREEN, not a drawing tablet but a regular touch screen laptop ! for example using the actual brush with a touch screen. i will totally buy this for solely that purpose. because apparently photoshop is being paid to not include usage of brushes without a specific drawing tablet when you can do so in every other application without needing a pen or surface pro blah blah.
I am eventually going to have to learn how to use this program as my previous photo editing program is not compatible with windows10 for some reason. :-(

There seems to be many holes and lack luster things as compared to Photoshop. I think Photoshop is clearly better than this program.
