You know at 05:47 Hetfield must have felt like a demigod, like a leader of massive armies of old, like Alexander The Great, all those thousands upon thousands of people chanting with and for him. I bet it gave even him goosebumps after all these years on stage.
that was the best opening🤘💀. from distance we really didn't realize how they just spawn on stage 😂 but now I can see it very clear in your video, thanks for sharing. Merci🔥
chanting die at the top of my lungs that night was a fucking dream come true, not to mention seeing fucking Pantera! thanks for capturing this moment for all of us there!
So glad they stopped the extra shit they used to add after Ecstasy of Gold before they'd play Creeping Death, now they just jump straight into the song. So much better that way, you get a climax right at the end of Ecstasy of Gold and use that energy to jump right into one of their most energy filled songs rather than let the energy die out with some weird shit in between the two songs
@@TheTrashmetal122I was there and it was because the sounds kept bouncing all over the place. Terrible location but great performance and crowd overall an experience ill never forget
No matter their age, the energy and passion the members of the band have to perform their gigs live, is unbelievable.
I'm 58 was there for both shows . My first Metallica show was in 1985 , saw them 8 times so far .
@@benoitlaferriere8581 That's awesome! There's nobody better than you to confirm my statement, then!
@@luiscoll2903 rock on brother 🤘🤘
what is special about walking around on a stage ? with the millions they make i think anyone could do it.
@@maniaque37 It's not about what they do, but the way they do it. Remember that many people their age do not feel they are energetic enough to do it.
I cant tell you how long I waited to be apart of a live DIE chant that weekend in montreal was the best 2 nights of my life
loved it
was at that show, so fucking amazing hearing 60 thousand people chant "die"
Please upload more from the Montreal nights. Great view of the band 🤘 Thanks!

@@ash80510 That is indeed true 😄😄👌
I was on the floor section for it. Amazing feeling. Especially after the amazing and heavy Pantera set.

Kirk Hammett on POINT!!
👌
what is the music that plays before the band starts , cannot recall it .
The ecstasy of gold. Ennio Morricone
The sound is crap at the Big O
Sad but true
sad but true@@Doc_Rusty
they should have asked the misfits to be the opening act
the older metallica is , the slower they are, james always sings like S..t live
Metalica's all time best drummer ---> Joey Jordison. RIP
Even Joey would disapprove your comment
pop music
Sounds terrible. This is why people pay hundreds of $$$, hold their phones for 2 hrs to play this back? I don't get it.
I have been reading that in this specific show the sound was so horrible, so is not something about his phone
