    They are perfect for bath salt with rose essential oils. Important. If you plan to eat them (or bath salts) be sure they are chemicals free... so get them from the garden not from the bouquets for sale. They always spray them.

      Uh oh i put ice on some roses and i drank the water on the rose. Will I be okay?

      @@Licoricebean can you give me more details? Roses from a shop (not organic then) ? You put ice cubes on roses or on petals only... and where? you put the petals in the freezer? And you drank... the water of the melting cubes?

    If using in food or other culinary use, wash the flowerheads first. Thanks for the drying tips. I would add: After you’ve removed the petals, keep the rose hips for your tea. You can dry those separately or just use them fresh. Nothing wasted #foodfortheages

    • @HomeCooked
      @HomeCooked  7 лет назад +2

      rose petals are slightly bitter in taste, you can use in cooking only if a certain recipe calls for. However, these dehydrated petals make great potpourri!!

    • @JannyMaha

      Remember to use organic. Eating non organic means eating pesticides which may change their chemical properties when heated..
