Hi Bradley, just chiming in to give you my compliments. I have been watching your videos since your unboxing of the B80. They have come a long way within a year. The scripting, filming and editing have greatly improved. Thanks for the great review(s)!
Thank you very much I really appreciate you sticking with me that long . Making videos is a skill same as making beer practice makes perfect! Also the right equipment isn’t the end I’ll be all but it absolutely helps 🍻
Great job! Left me drooling for a unitank. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year! Have a safe and wonderful holiday season and please keep up with the videos. O look forward to them!
Thanks for the review. I've been using the plastic conical fermenters for over a year now and it was going fine but lately I have a few infections. I've taken my cleaning and sanitising to a new level but yet still getting them. Now I think its time to go stainless and these tanks appealed straight away.
Great video. Thanks for the detailed information. As a result of this review and many others we are also going to start stocking the BrewBuilt stuf fin Australia as we also think it's top value and quality.
WOW!!! Nothing against Bradley or Simi Valley Home brew shop, but this product is a blatant rip from Spike's CF series. I am shocked there isn't some patent infringements here. Would love for you to now do a Spike CF review and compare them.
I agree it’s similar I’m I’m pretty sure Blichmann had some thing out first with a similar design as well. In my mind the fourth leg and a little bit water body is a big improvement! I wish my SS unitanks were a little more stable lol thank you for your support 🍻
I really wish this had a cooling jacket built in like the grainfather. I understand the pro model has temp control capabilities but I highly doubt it’s powerful enough to do lagers and cold crashes. I’m hesitant about coils and cold sticks. It looks like it’s just another way to invite unsanitary conditions and wild yeasts. With a built in jacket it’s completely enclosed and sanitary.
Bradley, I have two Spike CF-5 FVs and have no end of trouble sealing the lid for carbonation. Spike is not much help. How is the BrewBuilt better (or is it the same)?
Thank you, Bradley. Cool video. Tell me, is it worth buying a unitank? I live in Europe and there is almost nothing to choose from. I want a fermenter that can do carbonation. Sorry, I use a translator :)
Thank you so much for watching no worries the translator worked perfectly! I personally highly recommend a stainless steel unitank ! They aren’t the end all be all but they are absolutely awesome to work with. I’m pretty sure there will be a new stainless steel unitank on the European market very very soon 😉 from my company based in Norway😉
I have a 1BBL unitank. I just used it for the first time last week. When purging the yeast from the bottom of the fermentor, some of the water with sanitizer that I had in a bucket (blow off bucket) got sucked into the beer. How can I avoid that? If I take the hose out, then oxigen gets vacuumed into the tank which is worst. What should I do?
Appreciate the video thanks! I’m looking for a uni and still waiting for the Blichmann G4 as recommended by Brian at SCB. I’ve seen Blichmann other tanks and not a fan of all the bolts and suspension rods on the legs.... let’s hope for the best.
I would agree Blichmann definitely has their own unique kind of corky aesthetic. Don’t get me wrong most of their stuff is pretty good. My two biggest complaints are number one there brushed finish I just don’t like the texture of it call me crazy. Number two what I mentioned earlier there Corky aesthetic I think lens itself to a cheaper feel. Having said that I am curious about what they are bringing out 🍻
@@PortlyGentleman I agree, I’m not a huge fan of my 10gal Breweasy. However very easy to clean. Hopefully you get a prototype from Blichmann. You’re filming/ production is excellent and your opinion is honest.
Good stuff Bradley! Appreciate the video! Not at the point I could justify pulling the trigger on something like this but man I am intrigued. If you had to pick btw this one and the SS that you own, what do you think you would want? Understand you have fermented with it but......? Sláinte!
Thanks for watching us always 🍻 honestly I think I might go with the BrewBuilt . But truthfully I’d have to try out temperature control to be able to say for sure !
I have used the Blichmann I wasn’t too happy with that one to be honest. I just got the Brewbulit chiller I’m quite happy with it lots of power well insulated and it’s quiet if that matters.
First - frustrating as I am working in Abu Dhabi but at least I can get a beer or too Home soon and brew time - interesting kit doubt we will get this in UK I think looking at some of the components it’s a China.com manufacture - no issue for myself and I like the wide footprint but the band clamp like spike for pressure - hmmmmm One I am home I am trading up my GF for BT I think Great video as usual
No idea why this popped into my youtube feed, but I started watching and cannot get past this dudes beard. I so wish there was a law about having the right to grow a beard, cuz this dude would never pass that abr.
Its a nice shiny kit, but seems like a Spike CF series ripoff except without a racking arm and an extra leg. I'm all for a competitive market, but this seems pretty blatant.
Cheers, Bradley! 🍻
Thank you

Great Video Bradley! Really a nice fermenter. Keep up the good work!! 👍🍻
Thank you very much! always answering my questions and help me out definitely had a big part in making this possible 🍻💯

It's nice to hear I'm not the only one with tippy SS Unitanks. I thought I was going crazy.
You’re definitely not there are some issues there that they should probably have addressed by now !
Love your videos, keep em coming. You really deserve more subs :)
In fact, cause of your videos, I bought a B80 Pro and had a near perfect first brew.
Thank you for your support I’m also happy you’re enjoying your B80 there’s nothing else on the market like it 🍻
Sure is pretty. Nice job as always Bradley.
Thanks David that thing was so shiny, I had no where to hide😂
Shiny!! Also that looks like a nice HBS in Simi Valley, might have to make a trip out there!
I highly recommend it it’s the best one in the area way better than that beer wine and cheese shop, trust me on that one !
Good to know, I am always on the look out for a good local one!

Awesome thank you very much I’m just trying to keep up with you guys you put out awesome content thank you again 🍻
Mine now! 🎉
🍻🍻
As usual, great video. I can’t wait to see the maltzilla review since no one has done that yet.
Thank you very much I got it set up last night I’m gonna take my time and make sure I know it inside and out the video should be up pretty soon.
@@PortlyGentleman The 6 gallon plastic PET carboy will work for the hopper. That’s what I plan on using it fit perfectly!

I think it’s better to be honest iv got a CF 10 the lid is definitely finicky.
What’s your issue? I have both fermenter and never had an issue with any of these lids to seal properly
Looks very much like the spike conical fermenter. But the spike fermenter still looks better. Cheers 🍻
I’m thinking we need to try and get them side-by-side !
Great idea 👍 you try that :)
