    bigger wheels = less snappy controls, rolls obstacles easier.
    smaller = snappy control, requires more work to get over chunky terrain.
    mullet = big tire up front, small tire in the back. best of both worlds! less sore necks in the world

    I’m 5’8 and have a 29” with a L frame. A bit big but I’ve made some adjustments and it’s the most comfortable ride. If I’m doing blue or black trails I go with my 27” just because the turns are easier

    26” is great the wheels are sooo stiff and you really feel the control. 29’s are floppy sloppy mess. They will go out of fashion soon enough. 27.5 is solid.

    I do like 27" wheels, but I really love my 26" wheels for mountain biking through trails.
    26" just feel right, I'm 130lbs and 6 foot.

    Dont you sacrifice suspension travel with larger wheels? To have same travel as 26” with 29” the bike will be much larger

    I'm 5'1". Why should I be riding the same size wheel as a 5'10" racer? Maybe my 26 inch wheel feels the same to me as a 29 feels to that racer. I have all three sizes. I only ride the 29 front as a mullet. I prefer 27.5/26 mullet.

      Do you feel an imbalance with the mullet setup? Has it affected the BB angle to a noticeable degree? I have all three wheel sizes as well but I have never tried a mullet setup on any of them. Currently, I like all three individually but I think for the cons of the 29" outweigh its pros. I love 26" and 27.5" and, if I were to decide between them, would pick 27.5"

      I prefer to ride one size smaller, you can always adjust the set post and change the stem but if you have big frame , that’s a problems, I find also it’s easier to play with a one size smaller than my actual size.. hope this will help…

      Bunny hop is a good technique but the topic here is about how different sizes reacts to a gutter.Peace
