2 things I love about this game: - a 100% horizontal Beat Em Up where you don't have to worry about if the enemies are on your lane - every char seems completely different, both in design and gameplay
The 1993 SNES version was a sequel to the coin-op version (look it up on MAME) and single player only (the SNES version). You can easily clear the whole game using just Ninja (the big blue nunchuku wielding android) since it does the most damage. The U.S. version also replaced the sexy sword wielding kunoichi from the JPN version with more of the hopping hunchback enemies (too sexy for the U.S. market, apparently).
So, I want to buy this game, but I can't find it on either the Nintendo E-Shop or the Playstation store. It was supposed to be out two days ago. What gives? EDIT: Nvm. Apparently people in North America have to wait until August 30th.
I would preferred it more if they did as the TMNT : Turtles in Time remake did. They got lazy and we get this, i already have the old SNES so i see no point paying full price for it again.
This version is better in every single way compared to the Snes version. I've played the Japanese Switch version and it's fantastic! It's not even full price, it's around 30$. It's a remake from the ground up so I wouldn't call it lazy. It's a worthy purchase, especially if you enjoyed the original!
Are you kidding? They totally redid the 2d graphics, there's tons more animation and the aspect ratio is more akin to the original 3 screen version. All the characters have way more moves and they added a juggle combo system as well as tons of replay value with the 2 new characters and difficulty levels. And the cherry on top is the soundtrack from the original. You, my friend, don't have a very discerning eye. The Turtles in Time remake pales in comparison to this. The redone 3D graphics are so gross and the music, geez dont get me started on the god awful redone soundtrack.
@@MiscFightVids Yup, the TMNT remake sucked ass. That game was a remake from the arcade version, missing some of the exclusive content of the SNES version. This ninja warriors version is waaaaay better than the SNES version.
I hope they make a PC port someday, I'd love to buy it.
Thank you Taito for bringing us back this awesome beat'em up... Once again!
Got my Copy for Nintendo Switch. :D
Best OST!
I'm a simple man, I see b-- ehem, I see ninjas, I click.

I like how the 2 new characters one is extra tiny and the other is boss size.

Affirmative!

We need this on PC!
Got my copy from playasia and God, it's so damn good.
Raiden looks like a Sentinel.
This and Wild Guns Reload are top tiers on co-op gaming for this gen from the past

No f*cking stupid censorship. Great.
