I currently have 2 PSA rifles and am getting another, have had several, and am 100% happy with PSA. Got my Dagger about 5 months ago. Put 400 rds through it, 6 brands of ammo, 4 different defensive rds. "0" malfunctions.
This is why when it comes to triggers you dont rely on the mechanics but rely on yourself making the necessary adjustments getting to know the trigger ultimately becoming a great shot regardless of what trigger you pull. If I was to put it simply.. "Don't let the mechanics of your firearm hinder your skills, but showcase your skills by adjusting and adapting to whatever you got"
I own 2 PSA Daggers, a Dagger and a Dagger S and paid about $700 for both of them. The Dagger came in a kit with 10 mags for $350 and the Dagger S was $310 with one mag. Luckily my 19X mags work in the Dagger and Dagger S. They are both solid guns and shoot very well for the money. I agree with the PMAGs, they are good range mags, but OEM Glock mag compatibility is a great feature.
I own the compact version. I’m a cattle farmer and I carry it while working on the farm (clearing fence rows, working cows, etc..). It goes bang absolutely every time you squeeze the trigger. It’s not a high dollar firearm, which is why I carry it while I’m working. It’s never malfunctioned after approximately 300 rounds. Downside… Stock sights require a 6 o’clock sight picture, which is inaccurate, but I didn’t buy it to shoot IDPA with. Trigger is typical Glock, so yea, it stinks. Extremely safe! I’ve shot competitively for about 30 years. I’m no expert but I’ve got experience. I don’t carry a Sig P226 on the farm for obvious reasons, but I’ll carry this little jewel (on the farm while farming) from hence forth.
@@justicemcdonald2939 true most people don't use the added mag attachement on their carry holsters but I do see it possibly happening more often when home defending
@@BananaRaid what are you talking about I'm saying the chances of the magazine getting stuck in the pistol grip are slim to none especially on that gun because I own two of those three if you count my wives and the magazines fit in the well pretty loose little bit looser than a Glock so the chances of the magazine being stuck is like next to zero
I was just getting into guns and got raped buying my glock 19 gen5 during the heart of covid. I paid almost 800 out the door. And i bought it at a big gun store where i live.
Set screw or a roll pin in the fire housing will eliminate all that travel and polish up that trigger file down the disconnect a hair to make your reset even shorter and than you have a really nice trigger I know I've already did it. Johnny Glock has a video that shows you how to eliminate pre-travel
I've been considering getting one for a while. I love PSA, my rifle is all their parts and kit, and the fact they make a good G19 truly showes their pedigree.
PSA has a deal right now on the dagger. You get the gun with threaded barrel, cut slide, 10-17 round mags, and a bag for $410.......so I bought 2 of them. 😆
I have one, I got some 500 rounds through it, no issues. I use glocks magazines, don’t like the pmags base plates, they look funky, for $300 not bad for the range
Just bought a slide and frame today. The SW4 RMR cut with threaded barrel and suppressor height sights was 199 on sale so I ordered it with a 99 frame. Ended up being the same price as the standard stock compact Dagger. Really excited for this.
The Taurus G3 isn't a terrible pistol after they made several tries at it. I bought one "just because" several years ago, but have never fired it. I also bought one of these PSA Glock 19 clones. Look, just having the genes of a Glock means it's going to be extremely reliable. You want a carry gun that will never fail on you.
I own both and honestly their both on par, Taurus has made great improvements to their g series with the g3. The only reason I would choose the PSA dagger over the Taurus is the aftermarket availability is gonna be huge for the dagger and already is.
@@TheJimminiShow I like the real deal a lil bit more… but for the money you can’t beat it when you get into options for slide window cuts or optics cuts. The grips might be better too… 😳
too many people complain about the trigger. self defense situation you're not going to care about how "spongey" the trigger is or anything else. combat situations, stock is fine.
I have been patiently waiting for a black Psa dagger sw3 upper with threaded barrel to go on sale. I plan to put a SCT 19 lower with it. I wish psa sold a tin (gold) threaded barrel with the sw3 upper cuz I’d buy that. I’m going to buy my gf a stock psa dagger when she’s 21 in a month
I am not a Glock guy myself but I want a 19 because of the mag compatibility with other platforms and plethora of cheap mags so I don't care if it is a clone or not long as I can pick it up cheap and I like the PSA Dagger it has allot of options and you can use Glock parts with the PSA Dagger
I’ve never owned a Glock but for the price I couldn’t pass it up. I think it’s a really decent firearm. I’ve really enjoyed it, and I thought it was a decent shooter.
I would give that a try for sure. Price point sounds good. I'm not much of a Glock fan boy. Not that I have anything against Glock. Just not a fan boy.
The Dagger I got during the Labor Day sale for $249 had a black tip SS guide rod, DLC slide finish and a ribbed Slide plate.

Getting this
I shot 5000 rounds and it still work really good psa did they thing with the dagger
I like the way the slide looks
I Would Go With Aftermarket Barrel and Slide But Other Than That I’m Oem 🤣🤷🏾♂️
PSA makes everything but the frame. I have 3 compact Daggers and one full size and they are very reliable and a blast to shoot.
Love my daggers

What do you think is best gun for female to carry working at convenience store
Great economical way to get a fancy slide for your Glock frame.
Complete slide from PSA is like 180
If you have a malfunction during a shootout you won’t be complaining about having too much space to grab the mag.
Yeah but I'll be complaining about the gun at that point

Do you recommend the Dagger as a first gun for EDC? Or do I go Taurus G3?

Agreed. MUCH better trigger than the SD9/SD40, and I’m not a trigger snob so it’s perfect for me.
Ive had malfunctions with smith and wesson, ruger, and even sig.
Never had a malfunction with a PSA dagger
My brother and I put just over 1000 rounds through one with no malfunctions.
I would considering buying one, but I can only get it out of state from a private dealer (cuz im 18), compare it to my Steyr M9-A1 which was 350

I think he mentioned something about extreme carry variety but I’m not sure

How come you're always cut up??

What is the magazine count ?
You get one 15rnd magazine. Sorry I assumed everybody would already know the Glock 19 to 15 rounds it didn't occur to me to mention it I apologize
16rds .. the pmag just like the Glock mags say 15 but will hold 16rds

To answer ur question no but good if you can’t afford Glock
wouldn't buy a glock unless its a le trade in anyways would rather ante up and just buy a vp9 or pdp
