- A HISTORY LONG OVER 70 YEARS
Angelo Campolin Sr. born in 1923 in Maniago, Italy perfected his knife making skills before WWII and at that time made his first switchblades.
In 1947 he started making 30 stilettos with the marking “Angelo Campolin” to sell in Venice.
The craze started from there about his handcrafted knives. He introduced new mechanisms and styles of folding knives and in the 1970’s he created the Falcon Knives Company with his son Gianni which is still in business today.
Angelo Jr. started to work in the company at the age of 21. He is as passionate as his grandfather and father are about the art of knife making and a huge collector himself.
In 2002 it was the beginning of A.G.A Campolin ( Angelo-Gianni-Angelo ) a company of three generations of knife making art. The goal has been to offer great quality switchblades using the old methods and traditions which has been a great success.
The company headquarters have moved to Austria with production still in the original Maniago shop, as well as the others in Maniago that produce the knives for A.G.A. Campolin.

aga campolin just make the most elegant beautiful knives. in my opinion nothing compares to the quality and craftsmanship of aga campolin switchblade knives they are pure works of art.

Liar. I was sent a poor subtitute. Poor quality. Loose blade and loose rivets. I've have purchased axes with a sharper edge. Pure shit.

I am fortunate to own the 12" and it IS a beautiful, extremely well-made knife! The blade fires with authority and the lines are clean and unobstructed! I wish they'd make a swing-guard version...wouldn't be hard.

The Frosolone is just beautiful.. i have one myself, The 33 cm Swinguard is great too wich i have 2 of them, one 2012 and one 2015 and also a couple more from this video.. A.G.A is really good quality and i will order some more soon.. :) A switchblade collection can never be too big.. :)

I have purchased an 11" swinggaurd and a couple others from Frank Beltrame, he makes an absolutely beautiful knife, superlative to most any other maker. and no disrespect intended to Frank when I say that these Campolins' are so beautiful that they make my soul cry out in desire for them. I also am really digging the guitar work they just played. NICE!!

Beautiful knives, beautifully made. The big 'bayonet blade' stiletto at 1:47 is now surely a collector's piece: hard to imagine a legitimate use for that. All stilettos are essentially mankilling weapons, made for stabbing. The smaller clip-points shown last are more versatile.

My ABSOLUTE, ha down favorite is the Sicilian! I LOVE that little inward bubble shape on the bottom of the handle. Idk what it is about it but it’s just pretty to me. Please tell me your favorites too and why (if you read my dopey comment)
I have the 12" Sicilian and it is very impressive in person! The blade is broader and thicker than most stilettos, fires hard and locks up like a bank vault! The fit and finish is perfect for a hand-built knife!

These are just beautiful! In the mid 2010s, you could find large Campolin's everywhere at high, but fair, prices. After 2017 or so, good luck finding any large Campolins (11, 13, 17) and if you do, they will cost an ungodly amount of money. They are NEVER in stock anywhere, especially swing guards! Kind of took the fun out of collecting.
