I agree with one of the comment below that I don't care for videos about how Freddie died. We all know about it. Freddie knew for years he had the virus but chose not to be a poster boy for that disease. He wanted be known for what he accomplished in his life, not how he died. I think his nephew answered this question very well when an interviewer asked him about Freddie's illness, he said, 'my uncle is known for more than how he died'. The band also didn't want to exploit his personal life, so I will chose not to finish watching this video, until the next Queen song!

Joe couldn't cope with not being open with their relationship. 1980 he got cheated on, flew him out just to dump him and kept his cat! he may have had HIV from him as he died in 86 of AIDS he then partied hard in the early 80s but always wanted to be in a relationship but things didn't work out, he met vince who everyone liked but he wasn't willing to risk going on tour with him and loosing what he had if it didn't work out but he talked nicely about Freddie Bill sounded horrible they dated 82 and had a huge row the night before SNL performance, he bit Freddies hand! I don't like it when people make these types of videos, focusing on Freddie's death. Yes, Freddie did die from AIDS and he revealed that to the world when he was ready and the AIDS movement benefitted greatly from his honesty. The Mercury Phoenix Trust has been raising money for the cause ever since. But, to me, Freddie is about life, about music. Yes, be cognizant of AIDS in the world. Know that it affects all types of people. But focus on the music! Don't get to the end too quickly. Once you see the sadness it takes a while to shake it. No one but Mary knows where Freddie's ashes are and I hope that's how it stays. To me, these videos invade Freddie's privacy and try to get attention by sensationalizing and speculating about his sexual behavior and his death. Others won't feel the same. We're all allowed our opinions. I just wish you had played Freddie and Queen's music rather than this.

although this video tells us he‘s been promiscuous i don‘t know if there really has been „tons of partners“. because firstly this video shows the expected and known ones with whom he had long relationships when it tells about tons and secondly his band mates and the people around always paint a slightly different picture freddie being a very caring person and also quite silent and shy off stage. and indeed freddie could be very sarcastic and exaggerating in his interviews so you don‘t necessarily need to take all of his comments too serious. the other side is of course his intensive will to party as many interviews are stating, so we don‘t really know i guess.
As for where his cremains are you’d have to ask Mary Austin. A bit of info on the cremains….. she let them sit at the crematorium for 2 yrs before she went for them. My guess is that she still has them.
It’s all relative. Elvis was censured because it was the 50s. A whole other world back then. I guess it’s hard for young people to understand but that’s how it was. I was a kid in the fifties and that’s just the way things were. Ridiculous, I know.
