Man she is coming together! Love the shovel tire shuffle! Right tool for the right job , works great! Can’t do it any better than that , all new parts great video as usual !
I’m very happy for you you certainly brought this old girl back from the dead you’ve done a amazing job on it you’ve made very good video content as always I’ve enjoyed it very much keep up the good work. And Cheers brother
My grandfather was a trucker and my uncle was a trucker so I am familiar with all of the stuff that you do James and if I lived around there I would come and help you out but I live in central Minnesota.😊😊 And I worked in the shop at a trucking company when I was a young buck also.😊😊
Great video James and Jessica glad to see your getting the other axle sealed up and new brakes and drums. Krystal is coming together nicely stay safe James and Jessica.
Check the balance beam bushes as well James..the piece between the springs ....changed many balance beam bushes and pins when i worked on the old spring ride trailers ...just a thought..
That sure is a good idea with the shovel Brother putting tires on a truck another good video putting brakes on keep up the good good work safe travels on the airplane Captain
night consider replacing both u bolts at the same time. many times the unbroken u bolt gets stressed since it is the only one holding. i like replacing all the seals just so i can inspect the bearings and races. especially on a truck i dont know all the maintenance history. nice pete low leaf suspension would be nice on that truck with a tasteful frame stretch.
Helluva job James crystal is turning out sweet man, I remember a long time ago happened to go by your place, Trisha and crystal were the only trucks you had and I thought damn who's the dude with the cool cab overs.
I guess some people use silicone sealant on everything, others actually use a gasket or seal. Did I hear you say you may end up cutting up Krystal? Did I misunderstand or is this where I tell you to go wash your mouth out with soap? Oh, you might cut off and replace the rear clip. Now I understand. You don't expect Chinese made drums to last? You don't think Chinesium is a quality material? It lasts... to the end of the warranty period... usually... sometimes.
@@JamesPretty If there is such a thing just take on small jobs you can handle yourself. This would be a good side hustle for you to earn a little extra cash !

Thx Dan
Your the first person I've ever seen clean the inside of a new brake drum
There’s a rust inhibitor on them. I feel like it degrades the braking action. Might be left over from years ago my dad telling me that
I really like your shovel technique for wheel handling!! I can’t believe I never thought of that.
Thx big Paul. It’s not perfect but it helps
I use a bag truck or trolley you can take the drum right to it lift it up and get it on the the tire too
Hi James for all of your viewers you never stop to amuse us with your knowledge.
Thx Leon
Man the one thing I hate doing is brakes. You make it look easy. Appreciate ya Mr. Pretty
rick I also hate brakes.. but ive done them a few times now and getting faster at it

Very cool! wish you were nearby we could knock a lot of jobs out
I used to use a bar to lift the tires up but it looks like the shovel works much better 🤠
Easier to control
I think. Thanks for being here
Hi James and Jessica, coming along great! If I remember right when you did Trisha’s brakes the same thing happened with the brake drums. Stay safe
Yep. I remember that. Thx bro for always being here

Some more jobs done Mr P👍🏻 what colour are you going to paint the chassis rails, think the blue will look good again 😊
If it gets painted it will likely be blue again p

Only need 8 new tires lol. The fronts

Krystal is coming along great. Gotta have brakes
she really is.. I can't wait to get some of the bodywork started.
Yes sir I'd do the same thing replace every thing so I don't have to worry about something failing
yep for the first one anyway
I actually like working on brakes. You make it look easy, I struggle a little bit but still enjoy it. Does the 15% extra parts rule apply to semis?
of course !!! hahahah
I use grease on the seal and axel when installing the hub stops lip rip or tear
Nice. Thx for watching
Getting there not too long to go 👌⭐️💯💨💨💨👍🏻
Yep. Closer and closer
Bit late, but I watched and left a message.
Thx brother

Hey James. You should get a business license and on your days off do truck repair out of your shop.
Well nick. I would but I can’t seem to find any help
@@JamesPretty If there is such a thing just take on small jobs you can handle yourself. This would be a good side hustle for you to earn a little extra cash !
Coming along nicely James ,make sure you do a 3 axle alignment so she goes down the road nice and straight 👌
