As someone who loves stationery, making my own good erasers in shapes/designs I love without sacrificing quality would make my day. Any craft kits like this, or home tutorials, that help you create your own good stationery and erasers, I would love to see more of those!
Yeah, not surprised. About the most generous thing I can say about this kit is that, for cheap pencils, the built in erasers aren't that bad honestly. I remember getting Lisa Frank pencils as a kid because they had some cool horse designs and regretting life when I first tried to erase with it. I ended up getting one of those weird 'mechanical eraser' things to go with them because they were so bad!

Jackie...I'm pretty the instructions that you used for "marbling" was actually supposed to be for mixing secondary colors. If look at the last step of those instructions, the "log" is one solid color. The "marbling" is an intermediate step.
I was about to comment the same thing. The title of that section of the directions very clearly says "More Colors!" so it's just the directions for making other colors...

I remember that I had bought a Crayola kit, it was making your own colors for markers. I think I only wanted it because I saw it on TV in a commercial, I was a kid at the time and thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I only ever made one marker ever and I don't remember what I called it but I pretty much just made a dark turquoise color

Reasons why Crayola is always garbage:
Their stuff is clearly designed by non-artists. I could see them saying, but this stuff is for kids, NOT artists.
Um, Crayola? You sell art supplies for tiny artists.
For heaven's sake, most kids, their first time creating something tangible, a whole lot of those times include YOUR PRODUCT.
I'm sure if anyone from Crayola were to read these comments/watch Jackie's videos about them, they would assume we're just having a lark dragging them.
No, Crayola. You hold a very special place in many people's hearts. We drag you because it's upsetting to see you make products that don't meet the same quality standards as some of your other art supplies ala your crayons.
You're bumming us out, Crayola. Do better.
It's like writers who say, "It's only for kids- it doesn't have to be that good!" Even Robert Louis Stevenson said that about his classic poetry book! There is no more important audience than children. Things can have a huge effect at that age

Jackie I'm pretty sure the "marble effect" Crayola instructions have was actually to mix colors. That is why it says "for more colors" at the top. Love you though ❤

Try standing up, with the mold on the table and pushing it down to lock. You get more leverage that way.

Yes! I've missed them. I mean Jackie's fun anytime but I'm just not really into Littles things. Though I've watched some & enjoyed it. Usually while I'm also crafting.
I get why she does a lot of the Littles though. It's quick, easy & allows her to get more videos out easier even when she's not feeling too good.
But it's really nice to see a good craft kit testing video every so often.

Each eraser isn't as much as she said. Theres the pencils molds and the little station to also add to the cost. I'm not trying to hate I'm just wanted to say this😃
Thanks for the review. Videos like this are awesome when I DIY things that pique my interest. One small note though, erasers like this are made to sit on top of pencils and "look pretty", rather than actually erase things. I never trust erasers on the end of pencils anyway.

I mean with how many times the QR codes don't work, it's probably best the instructions are all on paper
This totally reminds me of the silicone putty we use in dental, down to the slightly oily feel that you described so i guess this is exactly that. It cures super fast like that too (no way we would have to wait 24 hours for a total cure).
But i have to say, the amounts of the three colours and the white activator is way too little. This kit is for kids, but even adults would need maybe more than one attempt to get it right. Crayola really needs to be better than this.
My boyfriend the other day said “in the trash” and I about burst from pride. 😂

Finally! For a channel with "craft" in its name, there hasn't been a lot of crafting going on. While I understand that blind bags/boxes and fidgets are the trend, there are already countless channels out there that pump out this (imo) lazy content. This is the first video of yours in months I bothered clicking on, hope there's more to come.

Make vs harden isn't a translation mistake. It's a marketing choice. The English is targeted at American parents who are (subconsciously) looking for instant gratification. The French is the actual third step. The 'make' is just a repeat of the second step to avoid mentioning a waiting period. The 'let harden' is also a passive activity while most Americans gravitate towards active for children's crafts.
