Hello! I’m looking to get my PE fixed as it is quite severe, but I suffer with both Hashimoto’s and rheumatoid arthritis. Will my body accept the bars for such a long time? Or could it cause my issues to get worse? Really thankful for answers because no dr in my country seem to be able to answer this.
Thankyou Doctor I’ve been greatly informed by your explanation. My 8 year old son has a condition similar to pigeon chest since birth. At age 3-5 he sometimes used to complain having chest pain. I decided to move to hills where he has comparatively more strenuous daily schedule due to walking uphill to school daily and stair climbing. Also it’s clean air to breathe. His chest pain issue has completely gone. The child has had no other health issues so far. The issue now is the growth of chest. It looks that the growth of ribs is at a standstill. The chest is neither depressed nor protruding but the growth of chest seems stunted and torso seems to be growing only vertically. I seek your advice about how to go for medical treatment if at all needed. Thanks and regards
