I don't see what Russia has to gain with this "plan". Unless it's some sort of blackmail style:" you don't stop, we give bigger rockets to Zelensky and more sanctions to you.". Already been there. My advice US should stop conduct themselves like they are the only adult in the room.
It would be obscenely expensive . The Countries would have to pay 4 or 5 per cent of GDP . Currently in the UK we pay 2 percent which is what NATO requires . But many European countries fail to pay 2 per cent . So Trump is right that Europe is the junior partner but would they have got involved if they knew it was a 35 year plan .
With a force numbering 72,000 including cooks and bottle washers they will be smaller than the force Ukraine lost in Kursk. Good luck with that! They are just a "tripwire" but for what?

This won't happen. And it’s good that Putin did not congratulate Trump. This means that Trump’s terms for a peace settlement were not approved. This means Trump will be forced to rule the United States and have this burden of war in Ukraine. It turns out Trump deceived his voters. That's the point. And then a military conflict may flare up in the Middle East. It is necessary to make sure that the United States becomes exhausted trying to help in two military conflicts at once.

If nato go involved in a real capacity they would steamroll Russia all the way to Moscow. Anyway did someone told the Ukrainians how they will be feeling when occupied by NATO? I could see it as a pretext to siphon Western Ukraine out of minerals and soil so western companies can have their investments partly back after that either cut their loses or continue to WW3. 500km wide no-weapons zone from North pole to Odessa controlled by UN troops from the countries not involved in this conflict. This means parts of Poland and Belarusia, whole Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia and whole Ukraine without any local military presence. Only police forces are allowed. And no NATO expansion.

Трамп до вступления в должность ничего подписывать не может, более того, это его второй срок, и он будет всего 4 года, а потом что? Придет очередной разжигатель войны, и все по новой? Именно поэтому Путин не раз говорил, что конфликт надо решить раз и навсегда, поэтому без гарантий безопасности России и подписанной западной коалицией, где они откажутся от принятия Украины в НАТО, решения не будет. Также не с кем договариваться и со стороны Украины, Зеленский нелегитимный президент, у которого вышел срок полномочий, и до нормальных выборов и смены этого диктатора на легитимного никаких договоров быть не может. Также Зеленский внес в конституцию пункт о «стремлении в НАТО» и запрет на переговоры с Россией, без отмены этих дебильных пунктов договариваться невозможно! И даже если Зеленский согласится на такие условия, то это будет его концом во всех смыслах, так как это будет политической смертью, а его будут преследовать за то, что он творил все это время, неонацисты ему тоже такое не простят, не говоря уже о том, что он слишком много знает о том, кто и почему это все устроил, так что ему не жить. Но в любом «преступлении» основой является получение выгоды, может мне кто-нибудь объяснить, зачем Ирану убивать Трампа? Причем когда он еще только баллотировался, ничего не решал и неизвестно победил бы или нет? И если исходить из мотивов и выгоды, то единственные, кто получали выгоду от его убийства в момент предвыборной гонки, были конкуренты-демократы. Так что покушение со стороны Ирана выглядит глупым бредом, так как ни время покушения, ни цель не имеют смысла. По поводу того, зачем США вообще замораживать конфликт на Украине. Дело в том, что они отлично понимают, что проиграли. Но спонсоры этого конфликта слишком много вложили, чтобы просто так все потерять, ведь если Россия продолжит, то она возьмет не только 4 области, а куда больше и сменит режим Зеленского на неподконтрольный США. Вследствие чего все купленные за гроши украинские активы, такие как земли, промышленность, природные ресурсы и так далее, будут для них потеряны. This is certainly a non-starter: Russia will never agree for Nato troops to be stationed in Ukraine - neither will it approve any acsession of Ukraine to Nato in 2045 or later.
That trick nato used in Bosnia and Kosovo. They entered and just painted on their vehicles IFOR in case of Bosnia and KFOR in case of Kosovo. So the similar recipe will be for Ukraine probably UFOR or something similar. I guess Russians know about this and will just reject this cheap trick to deploy nato forces.
Negotiating 101's 3 basic rules: #1 Always negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness. #2 The guys on the other side of the table should never know that you are weak or weakening. #3 Never start a negotiation if you don't know whether you are in a dominant or weak position, because your stronger counterpart will know what you don't and will either lowball you or put you in a worst position. I am pretty confident Russian negotiators know all that and more but do the incoming US administration know or understand that?

Russia will never accept a buffer zone which will be kept by UK soldiers or NATO soldiers. That will lead to same situation that Ukraine would have been accepted to NATO.

I'm not sure Russia will go along with this. That is, with the placement of European soldiers - basically NATO - on Ukrainian territory, so that they can build bases there in peace... It still seems to me that the bill is being made there without an innkeeper, namely Russia.

The most logical scenario will be that Russia will force the capitulation of Ukraine and, in the longer term, will split the whole of Ukraine into a permanent Russian part and a western Ukrainian part that, like Belarus, will be given a separate status under restrictions. That's what I think according to logic.
So, lets place Nato troops right in the "buffer zone". Russia would go for that right, after stating that having Nato troops on their border was one of the reasons for the war in the first place!

Второе, по сути сейчас России договариваться не с кем. Трамп до вступления в должность ничего подписывать не может, более того, это его второй срок, и он будет всего 4 года, а потом что? Придет очередной разжигатель войны, и все по новой? Именно поэтому Путин не раз говорил, что конфликт надо решить раз и навсегда, поэтому без гарантий безопасности России и подписанной западной коалицией, где они откажутся от принятия Украины в НАТО, решения не будет. Также не с кем договариваться и со стороны Украины, Зеленский нелегитимный президент, у которого вышел срок полномочий, и до нормальных выборов и смены этого диктатора на легитимного никаких договоров быть не может. Также Зеленский внес в конституцию пункт о «стремлении в НАТО» и запрет на переговоры с Россией, без отмены этих дебильных пунктов договариваться невозможно! И даже если Зеленский согласится на такие условия, то это будет его концом во всех смыслах, так как это будет политической смертью, а его будут преследовать за то, что он творил все это время, неонацисты ему тоже такое не простят, не говоря уже о том, что он слишком много знает о том, кто и почему это все устроил, так что ему не жить. Соответственно, он вряд ли согласится на этот «план».
В-третьих, условный запад и США давно потеряли доверие со стороны России, они много раз обманывали, не соблюдали договоренности и всегда держали нож за спиной. Так что Путин вряд ли поверит мнимым обещаниям без документальных подтверждений.
В-четвертых, никакие санкции или поставки вооружения не изменят течения войны. Украина не могла выиграть этот конфликт ни при каком раскладе. И последние несколько дней я часто слышу на некоторых каналах о «больших потерях русских», особенно после победы Трампа. Но в любом «преступлении» основой является получение выгоды, может мне кто-нибудь объяснить, зачем Ирану убивать Трампа? Причем когда он еще только баллотировался, ничего не решал и неизвестно победил бы или нет? И если исходить из мотивов и выгоды, то единственные, кто получали выгоду от его убийства в момент предвыборной гонки, были конкуренты-демократы. Так что покушение со стороны Ирана выглядит глупым бредом, так как ни время покушения, ни цель не имеют смысла.
По поводу того, зачем США вообще замораживать конфликт на Украине. Дело в том, что они отлично понимают, что проиграли. Но спонсоры этого конфликта слишком много вложили, чтобы просто так все потерять, ведь если Россия продолжит, то она возьмет не только 4 области, а куда больше и сменит режим Зеленского на неподконтрольный США. Вследствие чего все купленные за гроши украинские активы, такие как земли, промышленность, природные ресурсы и так далее, будут для них потеряны. И если вы реально верите, что Трампа и тех, кто придет с ним в Белый дом, сильно беспокоят жизни украинцев или русских, то вы наивный ребенок.

This is certainly a non-starter: Russia will never agree for Nato troops to be stationed in Ukraine - neither will it approve any acsession of Ukraine to Nato in 2045 or later.

Negotiating 101's 3 basic rules:
#1 Always negotiate from a position of strength, not weakness.
#2 The guys on the other side of the table should never know that you are weak or weakening.
#3 Never start a negotiation if you don't know whether you are in a dominant or weak position, because your stronger counterpart will know what you don't and will either lowball you or put you in a worst position.

The most logical scenario will be that Russia will force the capitulation of Ukraine and, in the longer term, will split the whole of Ukraine into a permanent Russian part and a western Ukrainian part that, like Belarus, will be given a separate status under restrictions.
That's what I think according to logic.
So, lets place Nato troops right in the "buffer zone". Russia would go for that right, after stating that having Nato troops on their border was one of the reasons for the war in the first place!

No Deal. This is advancement of NATO / US towards strategic reach of Moscow. Ukraine should be neutral and demilitartised. The eastern, Russian speaking regions should be ceded to Russia. If Trump can't accept that deal then the Russian border needs to be in East Germany.
