All three artists are well chosen for this artistic heat. The young girl, Fujiko, an architectural design artist has done a beautiful nightscape depiction, breath-taking...this is at 22:59, still 2 hours left to go. The others, Patsy and Sue have indeed given way to the overbearing towers, and the romantic nightscape, with their unusual flair that has won them their seat in the challenge. Very good so far.
Again, Fujiko is demonstrating herself a wonder. Sue has indeed captured the towering plants, lit up against the night sky. Patsy offered a broader landscape, putting the wonders of a blue hour skyline peering into the night. All are so difficult to choose...
I think it was very unfair to have them paint in the middle of the night. On top of that, it was a less than stellar landscape. The artists pulled it out okay, but think of what they could have done if they had painted earlier in the evening and given a better subject to paint. Thank goodness for the commissioned pieces.
My favorite series (and Portait Artists of the year too)
This is a great programme
Wonderfully refreshing series as is Portrait Artist of the Year. I really hope we get to see the newer series.

Sue seems to be such a cool person.

Patsy reminds me so much of the character Sally , of Coronation Street!
