- July Last year Mike Todd suggested we head down to the Bridge Hotel, Rozelle to capture one of my favourite bands, Chasin The Train - Kevin Bennett, Kirk Lorange, Mark Myer and Ian Lees. We weren't disappointed, sensational! This is 15 minutes of fun built around, little Feat's classic, Two Trains. Sit back, turn up the volume - this is classic Australian Pub Rock.

These guys are from Australia .
The Slide player is Kirk Lorange who was born in Canada but has lived in Australia for over 35 or so years and regarded as 1 of the best slide players in the country and has worked with many big names .
Kevin Bennett on Vocals and guitar , he’s a multiple Golden Guitar winner ( Australian Country Music Awards ) and 1 of our best Songwriters in Australia who has been part of the Australian music scene for many years .

Ian Lees on bass , Ian has worked with every well known recording artist in Australia and was a original member of Australian band “Moving Pictures” and has a career spanning over 40 years in The industry .
Mark Meyer on Drums .
Mark’s career goes back to the early 70’s and played with the “who’s who” of the Australian Music Industry.
They don’t play together every often but when they do it’s always a sold out audience.
These guys have been playing pubs all my life in places as far apart as Gladesville and Balmain. They're a well loved institution in Sydney's inner west.
Brilliant band. These guys never play a bad gig - all class and quality.

Great band. Lovely playing and kudos to Keith Walker for filming this just in case we happened to be stuck in limbo in a future pandemic.
I stumbled on this weeks ago. Not a big bluesy fan but this is amazing. It's just wonderful to see these brilliant musos having a great time improvising away and creating an interesting grove without gymnastics or over technical filler. The fun they are having shines through in the music. I've been listening to it every day since I first heard it. Well done guys - Full respect!

These fellers are great , used to see them at the Bridge as well as the Cat & Fiddle Hotel just up the road in Balmain.

Excellent playing and singing from these guys ! Usually I prefer black people (like Claudia Lennear) doing this stuff, but I must admit, that this band sounds pretty damn’ funky too.
