- Oooh I love a good art haul! And what better way to celebrate than with a swatching session and a sketch to really try out the goods! This is the RUclips edit of a Patreon exclusive and you can see the full, real time video with commentary by clicking the link below.
As we move through autumn, the colours are changing and it is great to reflect this in our choice of art materials. I have some really unusual ones (for me) and I am using some to develop a new technique. I hope that you enjoy seeing what i have bought and a taster of how I use them- you may have one or two of these lurking in a box somewhere- now is the time to dig them out!

Markers! "Here be dragons" territory to me. I've got one. In colour beige and didn't get around to it yet. So I was extremely delighted to see markers amongst your adopted art supplies! Didn't have a clue they could be smudged like that, which definitely peaked my interest.
Love the colour palette as well. How fortuitous is it, that all your adopted art supplies came in colours, that you actually like! Amazing bit of luck! 👍
Haha, I am so pleased that it passed muster! Absolutely- you change the house number, re-paint the front gate (whatever it takes to hold onto the goodies!). Smudging things is the best thing ever to be honest. It changes the colours of the paint a bit and also the consistency. Have a play! D xx
I may not live long enough to consume the amount of paper and sketchbooks I just bought. I better get busy! My husband said that will give me something to live for. Isn't he sweet?

It must be something in the air, because I tripped too! 😂 Straight on a couple of luminance pencils. Unfortunately, they didn't have a full selection of your 5 favourites, which is a disgrace, but some are better, than none in my book.
