A lot of people seem to be asking about a bootloop issue. I didn't even know what this was until you guys commented about it, and I haven't had ANY software bugs with this phone. No issues from my side :) I think this bootloop issue is just another software but that affects a very small number of people but everyone starts shouting about it because it's considered newsworthy lol
When you review a device, it is expected that you figure out everything about the device. App drawer option is one of the first you must have found out.
great review but a little misinformed,the app drawer is there with LG's stock launcher.Its testament to LG for the amount of customisations this phone has.

Great review man.. Since you probably already have heard that there is an app drawer I have to say that I have owned this phone now for a couple weeks and it's the happiest I have ever been with a smartphone. The build quality(and looks) , the camera, and the screen are awesome. Love this phone.
I have been using the phone for about 4 months now. Loving the phone so far and the screen size is something different specifically the screen ratio. One thing that bothers me are some apps are not compatible with the screen size. The apps can be resized to fit the screen or stretched to fill the whole screen but that means the edges are cut off.
Good review. I especially like the very clear shots of the screen in outdoor situations. I think you could have went into more detail on the camera though, low light performance etc. However I've subscribed. Good luck!
got mine for $500 5 days ago. i honestly love everything about it. REALLY hoping i dont experience and cracked camera glass. other than worrying about that, the phone is perfect for me.

I actually quite like the hardware design, quite elegant and solid without being overly flashy. save for the glass back fingerprint magnet. software interfaces were a bit of a let down until I put my own launchers, themes and keyboard on it.. still bummed by the dialer app tho - seriously no one touch dial favorites list in the phone screen??

I'm loving my single SIM G6 with 32GB storage. Unless the Pixel 2 XL has small bezels and IP68 I'll probably get a G6 with hi-fi DAC and 64GB storage and sell my current G6
They're finally catching up to Samsung in terms of display quality. The G3 and G4's display were no where close to as good as the Note 4 and Note 5's display. This however looks pretty close to the S8's display.
If only it had the 835 and Android 7.1.1 out of the box. The 835 is more powerful and more efficient than the 821, and version 7.1.1 has noticeable battery optimizations. Would've liked dual speakers a la HTC U11 or iPhone 7, but oh well. Not a perfect phone, but none of them this year are.
These phones including the S8 and S8 plus that I have and really like are NOT bezelless. Not even truly a so called infinity display either. How ever they are great to hold and use.
The screen on the S8 is better without any doubt than G6 and bigger , battery life is better so you have to pay for these two that's why the S8 is more expensive .
just an advise. when you make a review i think its necessary that you go into the software settings a not just the specs. especially you mentioned this is a full review. will you believe in everything i said if i lied to you? something like that.

They're selling the G6 Plus here for about 411 UK sterling and the regular G6 for 349 UK sterling. I mainly want the phone for social apps, camera, Kodi and making calls but I was concerned after watching this video because the Twitter app seemed to stutter quite a bit. Not something you'd expect from a 2017 flagship.
It's funny that the "worth every penny" LG G6 is a commercial failure.. People just don't listen to reviewers do they? They only buy what's best for them despite what others say.
Brian M pretty sure it's a commercial failure from all the bad rep of previous phones aka bootloop, even if this device is safe, people can't trust the brand as much as it could before the G4 came out. Hopefully the reliability of the g6 will turn that around slowly for the g7 or g8 to be A bigger success

Forflies They do give you an app drawer. You can select you home screen with or without app drawer. Settings, display, select home.
it is a good phone but honestly I gave it to my mom and I picked up the v20 instead

There is a setting to add a app draw to the home screen if you don't like the iPhone look.

They do have an ap drawer in the settings, no need to install any other launcher for it, unless you need to

King Alex The front camera is only 5 mp and has a tendency to take really grainy or washed out pictures if that's important. Hope this helped
