It's been 5 years since my last visit to Corfu and it has been on my "to do" list once again for quite some time. After debating whether or not to risk it and book the trip for a while I bit the bullet and did so and even managed to get myself on a Jet2 757 out to Corfu and a TUI 767 back home.
I had 5 days in Corfu and spent 3 of them doing some filming, so I've separated my spotting videos into 3 parts, Day 1, 2 & 3.
This is PART 3 filmed on Wednesday 23rd September. A rather chaotic day for Corfu and the nearby Islands as heavy rain and thunderstorms had battered the island throughout the night and seemed to sit just off shore throughout the morning, causing a lot of problems for arrivals.
There were several aircraft that had diverted elsewhere an EasyJet went to Athens and a Condor into Kefalonia. But most ironically is that while other aircraft diverted away from Corfu, the first arrival was infact a diversion from Zakynthos, which came into Corfu due to thunderstorms there as well. Lots of disruption throughout the day, even though by midday the sun was starting to make an appearance.
This video was filmed from the Royal Boutique Cafe & Bar and I was staying at the Grand Royal Boutique hotel. Well worth a visit if you're staying in Corfu and the hotel offers incredible runway views. Couldn't recommend it enough if you're wanting to relax on holiday and enjoy aviation as well.

Condor A320's, Transavia 737, EasyJet A320's & A321NEO, Aegean A320, Sky Express ATR72, Ryanair 737, Jet2 737 and a few private aircraft too.
All flight information has been added on screen for your entertainment.
Check out some of the surface water! The Transavia arrival & departure certainly caused a splash or two hitting some puddles down the runway.

Hi there, Matt. This is amazing! There's just one thing I'm missing, and my blind friends are, too. The flight information onscreen can't be interpreted by our screen reading software, as it is isn't where we can access it. Is it in the "Closed captions"? I checked to determine whether it's found in the annotations/subtitles, and I'm not finding it there either. We'd be able to read it if it's included in the annotations, or if you have a separate blog page, we'd be able to open a separate window and read it from that one. Could you please help us out by putting it in the annotations or subtitles at the time stamps they appear onscreen? It would certainly help us so much, and we love your channel.

Yes. International tourism arrivals in Greece in 2021 were about half the 2019 number.
