The 3 of them are legends 👏👏especially with all of us generation x who where kids in the 80s and grew up with these classic movies 👏👏👍👍🍺😃
The next one needs to be released in the theaters, like bad boys 👏👏👏👍
No we don't need any more!!!! LMAO
40 years already?!? Wow wow
The audience for the first Beverley Hills Cop, who were around and loved the first one, will want it to work for them again. The actors from the first one are rare and unique. Even Rich is aware of what a gem 💎 the first one was. It will play well, because people of all ages will realise that to open a present 🎁 again, they will see a shift in values, yet these actors are creatively alive and it will 🐝 different to what is predictably expected. Great show to talk through it on. Rich E. is 🔎 magic at what he does. 💎
kevin bacon as a bad guy was pure gold
He was phenomenal. Makes a great villain. Convincing as a good guy in the beginning too.
I'm 43, I'm not gonna fall for the banana in the tail pipe.
But my buddies and I will quote that line anytime a banana comes up IRL.
i was a kid when Beverly Hills Cop came out in 1983. i really liked the first one. These guys are a lot older now (as we all are). I'll go see this movie. I like these guys together.
Blues Brothers (1980) was action and comedy (and music). But BHC definitely set a tone for decades to come.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I did not like Blues Brothers. Can't tell you why. Granted, I haven't seen it in 35 years, so maybe my 56 year old self would enjoy it better than my 18 yr old self.
48 Hours too
@@ckmoore101 give it a watch. It’s still hilarious
Jackie Chan was already doing action comedy in Hong Kong in the 70's😏
@@MrFacundo7 Hong Kongs martial arts cinema in the 70's, is not remotely in the "action/comedy" genre. Just because Chan was playing the jester among all the straight men, does not mean they were comedies. Apples and oranges. Plus, his schtick of rubbing his head/leg after getting hit, for a laugh, got real old, real quick.
Plus with the banana you get Damon Wayans!
i get what he is saying and i am not expert on cinema history but at the very least "48 Hours" came out before "Beverly Hills Cop" and had the same sort of drama/comedy style, and it was directed by Walter Hill who is my personal favorite director.
Now all we need is a Brad and Phoebe Cates reunion at the pool.
Good call. A great moment in cinema.
_"...and then another neh-neh-nehneh-neh!"_
It is very true what Judge Reinhold is saying about action-comedy movies prior to 'Beverly Hills Cop 1' - it came out in 1984 - two years prior to it in '82 when 48 Hours was released which also starred Eddie Murphy, it was quite clearly a darker-gritter-more serious film as would be expected from its director Walter Hill - but Eddie brought a unique angle of comedy to the picture that captured people's attention - and Beverly Hills Cop 1 is the evolution of that realisation. What Eddie Murphy was only able to add a certain amount of to 48 Hours, he was able to put on full display in Beverly Hills Cop 1.
The only problem is - they kept going back to Beverly Hills lol... go somewhere else for once.
Good job squeezing an Arrested Development reference in there at the end, Rich.
All the resources in this production and you can't get a guest mic that doesn't have so much RF interference, nor can you figure out how to process it so there isn't so much noise on that mic?
I can't wait to see it on Netflix
I bet because its Netflix they won't release a physical copy. Another movie collection I can't complete.
Yeah. That's a good point. I want it on DVD to sit beside the others. The future sucks.
wow
BEVERLY HILLS COP PERFECT MOVIE. BEST MOVIE OF THE EIGHTIES PERHAPS. I LIKE IT MORE THAN TOP GUN. MORE REWATCHABLE THAN ROBOCOP, PREDATOR. IF DIE HARD IS 1 BEVERLY HILLS COP 2
Trading Places is up there aswell.
A Potato is much more likely to clog an exhaust pipe than a banana.
the original script called for a potato in the tailpipe but Murphy ad libbed it in the scene and they kept it in
"most people have electric cars" ...um who wants to tell him?
In Beverly Hill I think the numbers are more skewed
I think that's true in Beverly Hills.
Streaming these probably makes more sense at this point.
what was that other 80s classic, good times at hollywood high or something
Good times at ridgmount high
Fast times at Ridgemont High?
@@MrAug80 3rd time lucky.
Did anyone else think of Kamala Harris right here? 1:26
a banana in a tailpipe is like throwing a hotdog down a hallway. it was inauthentic because the banana is too small to touch the sides of the hole, much less to plug it. the potato is bigger than the hole, and when you jam it in, the excess gets cut off and the plug fits like.....
Yeah, but it's not as gay though is it?
Eddie Murphy is So-Hollywood he thinks everyone has an Electric Vehicle... I do not know anyone that has nor wants an Electric Vehicle, Though I am a TEXAN that drives a Jeep Truck and Carries...
BHC3 SUCKED!!!! I really hope this is more like the first 2.
I agree with you on that. The first two were great because of Jerry Bruckheimer producing. And the writing, the actors perfectly cast, the music from Harold faltermeyer.
Yeah.. Hollywood is parading 1980s films so dad can tell his kids who don't watch movies that the actors are still alive. Total Crap.
Miserable sod. We need to get back to the positive vibes of the 1980's. Guess you missed out, huh?
Garbage cash grab. Studios have figured out that they should just do remakes with the original actors. This way, you lock down those nostalgia dollars. Such crap!
I feel sorry for you when they remake your favorite movie with the complete and total opposite actors.
Those ears must pick up sounds from space
He can hear you talking from Uranus.
😂
