I don't know about that vintage F750, but you can get them from the factory with CAT and Cummins engines. So, the S model has the correct CAT and Cummins engines.
I have noticed that yeah it doesn’t have power and had a glitch or something where it feels like it gets stuck in place and loses all power and takes a sec to get it to move again but for some reason with my experiences it can climb pretty well for a truck with my power 🧐
Suggestion: pretend High doesnt exist; you have 4 gears: L-, L, L+, and Reverse. Ignore everything else and it does pretty near anything you want, just as long as you don't need to do it very fast.
Hey there! I am the maker of the F750S mod and i am really thankful for your review and your opinion. I am currently working on updating the mod with more options (addons and customizations), some balancing tweaks (small ones). Also, in your video, my F750 wasnt using the correct gearbox, it was using the gearbox from the SE mod, probably because both had the same file name. This has been fixed. I also would also like to ask if you could also include pulling tests too on your videos.
Most youtubers: fancy editing with jump cuts. Tc: we don’t do that here. Edit: I also want to see you use the derry desert racer on my dune map!! It’s so fun
I agree with you 100% on modifying the standard vehicles to perform better. Not only does it make the game more fun, but not everybody has time to grind the game with the vanilla trucks, if I had to do that I wouldn't be interested in playing the game. I can't understand the people who all complain about mod vehicles being OP, or taking away from the intended purpose of the game. Especially considering the franchise this game is a part of, mods are the whole reason most of us played MudRunner and have already started breathing new life into SnowRunner by giving you alternative gameplay. As well, most of the people you see driving in harsh conditions IRL are not driving poorly equipped vehicles that are likely to get stuck, or take them 3 days to go a few km.
Definitely loving the special edition! More options, more colors, not over the top power, great durability, love the twin strait pipe and best of all, option of suspension stiffness. The only thing I would like is an option for single or double rear tires. Or adjust the width of the axle bring the rear tires closer together. Ps I hat the horn as well, maybe in the future they will give us horn sound options to choose from...
Ok so I'ma gonna vent real quick.ok so first he throws it into high (the ONLY gear that can stall) then he yeets the truck up a cliff expecting it to not stall and go up just fine then says oop it stalled no more trys for u without even putting it in low and for the mud he also yeets it into the mud in high not low high f-ing high what!, why low exists for a reason then again pulls it out of the mud without letting it go and drive I just don't get it dude I just don't. K I'm done
Thank you! Finally someone else mildly annoyed by the community's almost blatant disregard for the Low gears. The F750 is fantastic if you adopt the mindset of "High is a myth." The fact he tries to put the truck up that hill in high after acknowledging that it cant do shit in high is very confusing. Im willing to bet the base F750 would've climbed that hill in L+, not very quickly mind you, but it wouldve.
And both of the nodded trucks both went from a C in power to weight to an S+, WITH ONE ENGINE UPGRADE. Like no shit they're gonna do way better climbing a hill and going through the mud
Yeah even I have to agree with that point. He didn't at any point put it in the lower gears. He just kept it in high all the time and expected its performance to match it's gear.
If the SE’s tires were taller and thinner it would be amazing but it’s too much of a truck pull vibe for only being a scout either that or dial in the track width but other than that the engine performance is amazing, the s on the other hand just needs mud tires🤷🏻♂️
@@raidermaxx2324 This is what the low gear has been developed for. High torque at low rpm where you need all the grip. No relevance at all @TC9700Gaming to test the trucks in mud in the high gears.
I don’t know I was driving it around today (with full upgrades) as a rescue vehicle with a buddy of mine and it was easily pulling over a flipped BM 17 at many different angles and could tow it on its side with ease, and was trudging through mud and snow pretty smoothly as well. Steep inclines it does that dead stop thing but I’ve only ever had that happen once at smithville dam. It was working great at lake kovd
when the trucks are winched, the rear truck has autodrive to keep up with the front truck you could winch 2 trucks through the mud, you can see if the rear truck is catching up to the front truck, its an objective way to see which truck is superior
I love the truck, only issue I have is that it's a scout vehicle and it can't use or pull scout trailers, but can pull bigger trailers lacking the power to pull them well, the bed is backwards and the gap could go away, the flatbed longer for two cargo option, i use it and it gets the job done, slowly and steadily, need patience, cheers 🍻
If you look back at the base model build, when you are installing the upgraded engine the graph doesn’t move at all. What they should of done is let it have a 6.2 raptor engine upgrade, because it definitely would find in it. I try to leave smaller wheels on because it gives you better wheel speed through the mud, but of course the red one was going to do well with those wide wheels where it will sit on top of the mud instead of cutting into and sinking with skinny tyres. SR is lacking in mods a little in my opinion.
All I want is an option to get at least a v8 upgrade and get it to B+ or an A+ power to Wight, I don't need it to be S+ in every category and run 300 miles per hour, or at least give the current upgrades a grater boost to the performances. I want the F750 to be competitive with the other trucks (and be useful more than being eye pleasing.) Or just balancing it better. I love the F750, but I will end up not using the F750 for good if no changes are made, because it's that bad.
I've just started playing last Sunday and I have to say the F750 is a very good truck in Low high gear. It can climb and push thru anything but if it's in auto or high it tends to bog down and slow down a lot and get stuck easily. I have the Mud tires 45" UOD II on rn and it's a Champ. My only downside is why do UOD II tires look better and knobbyer then UOD III Tires? UOD III tires look like UOD I tires but are wayy better. I think UOD I and UOD II should look like how UOD I AND III DO but UOD III should look like UOD II does. UOD III looks plain and boring while UOD II Looks badazz and mean but I think that's how UOD III should be. I think the looks of UOD II and III should be switched.
For me it would be the S, mostly because the mudtires as they are on the SE look cartoonish (way too wide), a fix to this would be to either go with a narrower mudtire, or have it a single tire in the back. I will commend the mod builder for not giving it the same motors as the S to somewhat balance it, cause with the high powered motors it would be completely OP.
I hate how the stock bed looks i like the repair pack but would like to see it with regular bed option or full flat bed roll back bed and a 5th wheel hitch and maybe a gooseneck trailer with a power upgrade for sure
The top motor for the F750 is the mid motor for the CK1500. Also in real life most trucks that size and era were small block v8s and large 6cyl rarely over 200hp for either. They relied on gearing and torque which I think the base one represents well.
NGL I feel like TC plays the Mud/SnowRunner games like racing games and not how they're supposed to be played as a tactical game where you plan your routes and endure your mistakes That's my opinion though Also the update made the base a lot better
It’s a old heavy truck. I think it’s a cool truck that’s why I drive it. I use and have just about all vehicles in the game. I would love a Dodge diesel pickup in this game. This thing is another heavy scout. Like the International Loadstar, and the YAR
The SE is what the 750 should be in the base game. It should have an option for a V10 not a puny 5 litre V6 lol. It basically has the hummer's engine in the base game. All it needs is that V10 and its fixed.
I noticed when you upgraded the base version and you put the motor in it was only a C-Class and the best motor option for the F750 is the HET/10V 6.6 and this makes it A-Class for power you only have a "C" class motor in. So you had a very very weak base version
In the new map me and my friend were going upgrade hunting in the F750's with just flatbed attachments. i hit a tiny bump on a ROAD and my truck just stops moving even though everything was fine. My friend then had to bump-start my truck.
I keep hearing these stories of getting stuck on flat ground with the F750. I want someone to post a video on reddit next time it happens, because i'm calling bullshit.
It has no power cuz even the 5.0 doesn’t change the stats at all which is most likely why it also has little to no fuel consumption. My favorite though is the S, I wanna have a Fummins in the game lol.
I love the wide tires. I can’t believe for a game that you are off road constantly you can’t change the rim size on console. I would never run mud tires on my factory h2 If I was really doing what you do in the game.
It sucks that they reused engines that were already in game instead of giving it what actually came as the standard engine options. And they need to add an option to have a full length bed. I think it ruins the looks of the truck having a split bed and cab.
The real life truck could be underwhelming, but it had the room to drop whatever in it. Ive seen them as mud boggers, tractor pullers, highway tractors, hay trucks, general farm trucks, etc. Many of them were decent, to OMFG what did you do, fir power. Love the truck but its current power doesnt line up Id be good with the S and let it have the small custom muds off the tayga and tuz 16. More than enough
From someone that works on trucks the f-750 in game is way under powered i shouldn't be able to pull it with something that ways less than it it just doesn't have enough power itd be nice for it to have more and itd be cool to see the coolers from the s and se
Tomcat I couldn't agree with you more.....personally I love the truck and truly hope this is not the final build for it power wise I can live with it being slow...it's huge and realistically they were not "fast" but it has less torque then an early 90s Chevy caviler that's a problem....for really though....I could just sit still looking at the dash cluster all day long
It's true that the real trucks did not have much horsepower. But in the game I've had this truck get stuck on hills and on ice that it didn't have the power to climb over. That's not realistic. I don't think the devs really understand a lot of things about trucks and offroading.
Now if snowrunner would give the Ford more power along with the tayga mud tires then I think that should do it but it probably could use more things in other people’s opinions
i would use the stock DLC version, cause no matter what vehicle you have there is always an answer or way out of a sticky situation imo, other two are nice might give em a go, God Bless hope TC and subscribers families are well and safe!

It’s the tire width that makes the big difference. You’re trying to reduce the ground pressure to give you more flotation.

The f750 isn’t a bad truck u just have to give it time to do but it does need more power I will admit
Either more power or change the gearing
