This was so much fun to watch!! I’m a physio student from Winnipeg, and I was always curious to see what the program was like elsewhere, this was so cool to see! Keep it up❤️👌
Hi 👋🏾, I know it’s been a while this video was uploaded and you’ve probably graduated now. But I just want to know is there really a huge difference between going to PT school in canada and getting an MPT. Or are they the same? Thank you for your response in advance!
Hi! When I say PT school it's kind of a broad term for the master's program, so they're the same thing! Western's PT program is a Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT), while some other schools like UofT is a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT)
Hi Ajibade, thank you so much! I studied Kinesiology for my Bachelor's program. You can study any Bachelor's program as long as you take the prerequisite courses needed for the physio school you apply to. They vary from school to school, but usually it's classes like physiology and anatomy.
How u get time to edit the video ??.i mean many ppl in canada to part time jobs and all so i m quit suprise alsso….i m going to pursue physio in canada these yearr!!❤️(pllsss reply)also planning to make videos like this!! So plss tell me how make vidoes like these ! Cuz ur videos are amazing ❤❤🎉
Hi, thanks so much! I didn't work during school so I had some extra time to edit 😊 And congrats, that's great you're pursuing physiotherapy too. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos!
hi ! are you a student ? wondering if canadian PT school include wound care in the curriculum ? I am a PT wound specialist myself in the UsA and just curious if we have the same specialty paths …
Hello, I just recently graduated a couple months ago. I can't speak on behalf of all Canadian PT programs but at the University of Western Ontario, wound care was very briefly covered (like one lecture). There are specialized wound care physiotherapists in Canada, but I believe they would get additional training for it after PT school.
