Fused Perfection? Sunlu Filament Connector review

Taking a look at the Sunlu filament connector. What's it used for? Why would we want one?
My temp for ASA was 210c about 8 seconds of fuse time.
My temp for TPU was 190c about 8-9 seconds of fuse time.
