I chose this title because I frequently receive comments from Wahabis claiming that "Hanafis consider Riba and the sale of alcohol permissible." This is not clickbait, as the Shaykh thoroughly addresses the issue in the video. If your attention span is only 30 seconds, that's not my responsibility. Watch the video, and you'll find the answers you’re looking for.
I posed this question as a hanafi in the last video, it was genuine It was addressed her thankfully What about the other question Hanafi fiqh says Hadith can abrogate Quran? Thanks
Why have you deleted my comments, you cowards? The observations of the so-called Wahhabis has been proven, because Asrar has agreed with their assertions.
@@RR-vg5hgwasn't it is the Hambali who think Qur'an need hadith than hadith Need Qur'an? I forget who said that but someone once said that in his refutation against Wahabi
Is it true that imam Abu Hanifa says it’s not zinnah and no hudood is applied if a man pays a woman for sex? According to ibn hazm in Kitab Al Hudood, Al muhalla.
What is Sh Asrar's position on the issue of the organization Dawat-e-Islami being accused of dealing in riba buying properties for Masajid and Madrassah's and Islamic centers in UK? Their justification is that since UK is Dar-al-Harb, it is permissible for them to deal in riba, and that they are buying properties for the sake of spreading Islam. I wonder if Sh. Asrar is aware of this matter, which got some publicity in Asia.
Wrong title, deo hanafis are against riba/mortgages but berelwi hanafis are ok with it. All deo fundrasing is done by contribution, whilst berelwi genrally see no issue taking out riba based loans for masjids, community centres etc. Also deo based people who have shops do not sell alcholol, however many brelwis of pakistani heritage will sell it in their shops.
Why do we have to hold on to some of the controversial scholarly opinions despite the open Quranic injunctions?! I don’t understand this approach of almost tribal adherence to fish position of the madhahib. I fully aware of intra-madhab difference of opinions, so, why do we keep repeating and endorsing clearly false rulings instead of coming up with alternative and opposite view from within the madhab? Are we like Jews who made scholarly rulings as if they’re from God? Jews judged Jesus based on their previous scholarly views! We shouldn’t hold onto whatever scholarly views we had within certain madhabs. We don’t have obligation to hold onto every single rulings given by every single scholar. We can favor certain views in our context clearly.
So how is anyone supposed to profit from money lending if you can't charge a fee with lending money? And there are other factors like if someone is paying back a loan long term, you have to pay admin staff, inflationary considerations etc. Aren't the verses about riba simply about predatory lending to people who aren't able to pay back the loan? Sensible responses please, no emotional crybabies 🙄
You are not supposed to profit from money lending, that is the whole point. This whole economical system that has been created and forced us to use it is a system of disbelief. I will give you another example. Say if someone steals your money, or hurts you, you go the courts right? In todays world, there are NO courts run by Sharia, so any court you go to is a court of taghut, and it is shirk to go for judgement to these courts.
The idea is that you’re not supposed to profit from money lending. Economies based on interest, institutional banks, fractional reserve banking, etc. are all fairly recent inventions that hurt the people.
The risk is only on the person borrowing. Both parties should share risk and enter into profit sharing as well as both parties exposed to risk. If there's no benefit there'd be no investment. But if there's no risk sharing then it's an unfair agreement favouring the borrower.
RIBA is haram by Quran and it should be accepted as such despite some scholarly opinions. Because Quran is clearly criticising Jews for eating riba. Now look at the Jewish riba rules which permits it when applied to the gentiles. If Quran is criticising them for eating riba independent of whomever they apply it to, then we should heed Quran and stop the nonsense about Muslim non-Muslim discrimination when it comes to certain rules.
He's not because the prohibition is khas, to make it aam is where the iktilaaf is. Also, what is called riba today doesn't fit the Bill or so it seems.
@@yourstruly5706 Ribe is simply making money on money, whether lending or receiving. You can call it whatever you want, or to justify if it fits the bill.
@anneeq008 You can with the high and mighty, but I'll let it slide. The khilaf was on whether non grape based intoxicants such as nabeeth are prohibited. The Prophet (upon him be peace) had date based Nabidh. Kefir is formed from a similar process, yet ferments faster and its halal. That opens up the door on what is prohibited and isn't. People then argue for alcohol content, etc, or material used in making alcohol. That is where the door opens up. As for riba, read Fatwa Bartania for a detailed explanation
