Allah destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allah does not like every sinning disbeliever.

It's extremely difficult to get a council house for a normal family these days for over 30 years now.
The government has handed over housing to greedy private companies who use housing for greed and shite mortgage products just to enslave people on these buying schemes.
Renting is extortionate too these days due to all these landlords buying housing at scale on interest-free products at crazy mortgage interest rates and in order to leverage their LTV and ROI the rent prices are crazy so why would anyone rent.
Buying a house is still in the long run the better option

@@Tinolg7 Your Understanding is incorrect. This modern western mortgage system is the islamic system creating great wealth for poor people who couldn't own land or even have a security for there family own home if land lord decides to kick you out were running from here to there with your kids
They need to address dawate islami who have been using riba for their masajids.
There are a few issues here. The sheikh already acknowledged that there are tycoons who take advantage of muslims and charge them extortionate rent. One can argue it i would be a dharurah for them to buy a house to ward off harm from these landlords who keep increasing rent and also if something goes wrong like a broken boiler they do not fix it... the monthly mortgage repayments will be lower than the rent..
Also if your entering the uk as a مستامن that doesnt negate the fact that the non muslims here are harbi.. if you dont regard them as harbi you automatically regard them.as dhimmi but they are not dhimmi as they are not under an islamic govt. So they are still harbi and the rules can still apply. Also the govt of uk if it wanted can stop certain practices of islam if it wanted like jumah. If you dont regard uk as darul harb you automatically then regard it as darul islam but it is not darul islam.as there is no muslim sultan.
Living in a council house is not an appropriate option for a muslim, why? Often these council houses are in areas which are deprived, has high crime rate it will impact your children and there will be a lower standard of living...
And living on rent for the rest of you life leaves you always on the edge, in uncertainty as to when the landlord may evict you. There is another shari principle which is عموم البلوى when people are engaged in something communally which they cant avoid and giving a fatwa against it will make most of them as sinners then that fatwa is left...
Regarding mortgage repayments... a person should not obtain a mortgage beyond his means often repossession.happens to.people who borrow more than they have the capacity to pay back and jobs are widespread in the uk if one loses one job they can attain another. Even if they may have to relocate..
The problem is renting from a landlord who is increasing your rent every year and you have a big family with 1 bathroom and boys and girls enter puberty then need more privacy/separation. Islam did not come to make your lives difficult it came to make it easy and pure- obviously be smart and buy something affordable with a loan you can pay off quickly and there’s nothing wrong with this acc to major Islamic councils in Canada and NA and Europe.
I would never rent just to put money in the pocket of next man
Asalaamu Alaykum, brothers please fear Allah, riba is clearly a MAJOR sin, Allah mentions in the Quran “ O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah and give up what remains (due to you) from Riba (from now onward), if you are (really) believers. And if you do not do it, then take a notice of war from Allah and His Messenger.)”
You may think paying rent is pointless and it’s more efficient to mortgage a house however what would you prefer, a haraam house in this dunya and waging war against Allah or renting and Insha’Allāh pleasing Allah and entering Jannah

What our ulma need to give us a is soild Solution to the inflation problem and savings money doesn't keep up with asset inflation its a debt based system built on interest at the base protocol for new money to get introduced in to system someone or company needs to take out debt and roll it over or service that debt u cannot escape losing purchasing power over long periods of time your fiat money saving isn't going to keep up with asset inflation its figure out how to make more money and invest in better storage of value like bitcoin or something

The Quranic ayats talk about the taker of interest not the giver .. the war is against the loan shark exploiters not the one who is exploited , although by default it is also haram for the giver to feed this evil institution…
