They are a bit bright but the cushions are really comfortable even in hot weather. If you are outside and there is strong wind, you hear the wind somehow and it can be annoying.
@@IONHowTo me i would switch from my dt990 pro 250ohm to this Cuz it is flat and better in mix master cuz I m a sound engineer But in comfortable you change the earpad or still with the original ? And till now after 3 years how is it with you?
Bought these to listen to CDs on my Stereo System at Home. Did not know what “Studio Monitor” meant until I did a little research. Hope they sound Ok since they are actually supposed to be for Monitoring Sound in the Studio.
You will hear some details in the music you didn't know were there. They sound more bright but are very clear and have precise bass(just made that up trying to describe the sound). If the high end is too bright you could eq it down a bit I guess. We use these for recording and editing. For music, I use a cheap bluetooth pair of headphones. It's so convenient to be wireless. I don't need ultra high quality though. You will 99% love them.
Hello, there. I watched this video for the first time yesterday, December 12, 2021. The unboxing experience is certainly useful in videos such as this one. Showing the product in its unopened retail packaging before taking the product out will help people avoid the risk of buying counterfeits and lookalike “knock-offs” of “The Genuine Article,” to reference that 2000s Fine Living TV show hosted by Gordon Elliot. Let me now ask: does anyone know if a Sony MDR-7506 headset, coiled cable and all, will fit into a CASEBUDi Headphones Storage Case (X-LARGE) that then closes neatly? I purchased the CASEBUDi case several years ago, to store another set of headphones that I have. I’ve used the iHip IP-MHP999, a green-coloured set of circumaural (or are they “supra-aural”?) headphones, for several years. Their colour is atypical and they’re not prestigiously pricey, but they were an honest gift (a Christmas gift?) from a family member and those headphones have been valued - and, uh, much used. Unfortunately that headset now needs replacing. Does anyone have experience (maybe shown in a video) storing a Sony MDR-7506 in a CASEBUDi Headphones Storage Case (X-LARGE) and not damaging either the headset or the storage case from trying too hard to make THAT Sony fit into THAT CASEBUDi? Do advise and have a good day.
You got the original! I searched online on how to tell the original just from the box. So on the back of the box the original will have the copyright logo first which you have. Fakes will have the copyright logo after sony corporation. Also on the top of the box there's no text which means it's original. Fake box will have text on the top of the box.
@@IONHowTo parts are available but not to worldwide, only selected countries, also replacement speaker is very expensive, instead of buying 40$ single speaker plus shipping i would buy new headphones. but good news for me is, I have managed to fix mine with very hard work. now its working with 95% of the same sound.
You must have a pair of Chinese knock offs. The knock offs are almost identical, infact I came a cross a pair in a retail store that turned out to be fakes as their shipment was questionable.

It's such a specific thing to look for but maybe someone who has both can answer at some point.

If i buy These on Amazon are they fake or real
Fake
not shure about earphones but built-in mic in your recorder sounds pretty good.
Great review
watch out for one side driver dead in next few years, my V6s right side driver just died without any reason and without using much.
Spare parts are really easy to find.
I guess volume is very stong with these.
Few pops and hope the drivers fail before my ears start ringing.

@@sheyshah2848 I don't think BHphotovideo.com sells knock offs.
That was a specific problem of v6 model
Sting uses them, and that's good enough for me... 🎧
