Interiors are easy just needs some time
It's relatively easy. You just need to get used to it. For me personally it takes around an hour or so to design a whole car, interior included.
You can place interiors using 3D fixtures mode and its relatively easy and they work in Beamng, nonfunctional dash and steering of course
