    Is there a specific reason to maintain 95 completion rate?

  • @KingGhost_
    @KingGhost_ Год назад +5

    Hey you can lower your Completion to about 90%. I use that trick to keep a high AR as well. I have been a Top Dasher with access to large order program for over a year and with diamond program the last 8 months or so. In my experience as long as you get you completion back to at least 95% or higher then by the last day of the month you will maintain your status as top dasher and large order. You just cant be below 95 by the end of the month.
    So if you plan on continuing that trick then you are ok to go down to at least 90%. You just have to know that the next 100 orders you do you complete them. It takes time to figure out the best way to manipulate your CR. But the way i did it is by knowing how many orders i actually do in a week and i complete about 65 to 85 orders a week on door dash. Hopefully that makes sense.

    On Aug 1st I had my AR reset and on the first day they were giving me better offers than I was receiving so I was hopeful. Day 2 with my newly reset AR was a different story. Low paying, high miles offers all night during dinner rush, under a dollar a mile which is my absolute minimum. So naturally my AR plummeted again.
    I had yesterday off from my day job for a doctor appointment so I dashed for 10 hours in three different markets and only mad $169.25, so like $17 an hour, when I used to usually average $22 - 35 an hour just in June and July. I'm happy for you, dude! That's awesome you're getting some great offers.
    I hope things improve here in Michigan or else I might need to call it quits. I can't keep abusing my car for $17 an hour.

      Michigans not doing too well for DD. The way the zones are set up doesn't line up with where customers are prompted to order from, so we end up with a lot of high mileage orders from with $5 tips that would have been acceptable if local. I'm sick if being asked to leave my zone nearly every other order, is it at all similar in your market?

    • @KerbearMcCabe
      @KerbearMcCabe Год назад +1

      @josephwright8752 similar. So I work mainly in Lansing and Howell which is labeled as Brighton on the map. Lansing is super spread out so trips can take you all over the place. Howell is more centralized in the spots their restaurants are located, but they also have you going for some 15min 5 mile runs. It's frustrating.

      @@KerbearMcCabe Gotcha, i'm waiting for my first order for the dinner rush in Clarkston which is labeled as Pontiac North. It's the Northernmost zone in SE MI before a dead spot between Flint so we get all of those rural orders, Pontiac orders, and a bunch of Waterford as well(and Waterford is split between Pontiac and Pontiac North which makes it hard because Waterford is nice and Pontiac is well, Pontiac).

      @Ottobon Год назад

      @@josephwright8752 I'm in MI too and i feel you about how messed up our zoning is, what i can say as someone in greater Metro area, one with many busy zones overlapping is that at least in my experience the "Dash Back to Zone" feature has been working i'd say at least twice as well as before for me, as has Dash Along the Way. I recall severely regretting trusting it before but something appears to have changed because its actually giving me some of my better or at least good-average orders on way back now, at least assuming I'm not stuck in area known for lack of tips.

    The thing to keep in mind is that priority only works under a few circumstances. For one, there has to be enough high paying orders in your are, and most importantly is other dashers also can't have priority. If everyone has it, then no one does.
    This is one situation where trying it out will be the only way to know for sure how it works for you. In my area the 70% AR seems to work well, but the moment I got top dasher and had the 'slow orde priority' Ibwas flodded with trash orders and couldn't keep my AR above 35. I now actively avoid top dashet and have been trying to get back to 70%+ AR but I teally struggle in my area due to the layout of the city (lots of orders go away from merchants, so return miles kill profitability).

    I had 5 high pay orders out of 8 yesterday, & they were the good kind not $5 2 miles. TD means more of these in the markets I work..Every state, market, & zone is different, so your experience may differ. Most of us are searching for the most profit, not the best metric. How much profit are we holding in our hand at the end of the day is what we want to know, not who has the best rate per mile. A $3 average pay per mile doesn't mean anything if you are only making $80 day, no one can live on that. Experiment until you find what has you walking away with the most money.
