  • Former President Trump is visiting the critical swing state of Pennsylvania Wednesday, giving remarks to supporters in President Biden's hometown of Scranton, Pa.
His remarks Wednesday, according to the campaign, will likely target the Biden administration and his Democratic opponent Vice President Harris on the economy.
The event comes just days after Trump rallied voters in Butler, Pa., the site of his first assassination threat. The GOP presidential nominee said Saturday that he felt an "obligation" to return to the town and he honored the victims from the July 13 rally, where a gunman grazed the former president's ear, killed one rallygoer and injured at least two others.
Later Wednesday, he will hold a campaign rally in Reading, Pa.
In The Hill/Decision Desk HQ's polling index, Harris has a razor-thin lead over Trump in the Keystone State - 48.8 percent to 48.5 percent.
His remarks in Scranton are scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT.
