    So sad the port never used the Federal grants to rebuild the Railway perhaps improved right away to protect from future flooding...very very 😥 We understand now There are even better grants now days that are there to improve ports accesses Now....Maybe now we can fix the Track ...In God Prayers..

      Sadly the trackage that is left is being turned into a bike path, and turning something back into a railroad after it becomes a biking/walking trail is very difficult.

      @@abuBrachiosaurus they could have repaired the railway after the flood in 2007, that would have been the cheapest.

      @@AL1-x3e3f They were still in debt from the previous flood that they had to repair, it would've been two million dollars to repair and POTB had no money

      @@abuBrachiosaurus maybe a public fundraiser? it's sad to see those tunnels and tressels built a century ago just left to rot. If they rebuilt it now, would they have to start from scratch? I wonder if those bridges are still viable.
