In case you're looking for more resources here are my recommendations: Learn Go with Tests, The Go Programming Language (a good reference), Hands On Software Engineering with Go, Go also has great documentation. I started building a project as soon as I started feeling comfortable with about 50% of the concepts shown in Learn Go with Tests
