I just ate the entire "Rough Draft" playlist (as of now, of course), and I gotta say that this is incredibly helpful and looks really interesting! Especially this video in particular, native functions were something that always astounded me on how they were built, and has tons of potential. Absolutely cannot wait for more, keep em coming.
new subscriber here, your tutorials are so entertaining and so calming.. love watching u and hear you talking... im a young upcoming modder, and im actually learning all this so hopefully a can do some good modding in the upcoming 'starfield' your hair looks great btw
I dont make Skyrim mods, but what you do is amazing work. Video style is short and beginners friendly for programming tutorials. One day u just might make another channel with c++ or something for more views and maybe money.
Great tutorial! Now, I think, I can register plugin in MCM menu of the SkyUI plugin. But it would be nice, if you make a tutorial about something like this.
I have been avidly watching and following your tutorials. They are truly amazing! Thank you for this video as well, I truly appreciate all your hard work. I was wondering if you might consider creating tutorials on making StarField mods?🙏 Your ability to explain things so well is impressive and I would love to learn from you. Regardless you have a lifetime subscriber! Patiently waiting for your next lesson.🧘♀ Thanks again!✌
Awesome video! It's really good you're showing people how it's done. Also, I have a question! In 11:27, there are some bits in the code like: "a_intfc: skse" and "auto systemName: char * (...)". I don't get it, what does the ":" mean? I've seen colons being used in contructors, but not like this. Can someone help?
It's not the code. Those are just some editor hints. On 11:27 "a_intfc" is the name of the formal function parameter, "skse" is the name of the actual parameter
I have idea. =) How about include in a cUrl that waits for data to come in from the site and display it in a MessageBox, and subscribers can leave short messages on the site?
My dll never loads, it gets checked, but never loads, been spending hours and can't can't it to work: checking plugin SkyrimCOVR.dll plugin SkyrimCOVR.dll (00000000 00000000) no version data 0 (handle 0)
This is the thing i was looking for and gone through all the videos in this playlist just to find it. you have my thanks!

Umm...what if we don't have some way of compiling a papyrus script in Visual Studio?

How do you setup an SKSE function to trigger an event that can be registered for in papyrus?
Hello one question. How can you then use the function in the creation kit to make a spell or a quest?

Well, I'm once again faced with a reason to pick up studying C++.
My dll never loads, it gets checked, but never loads, been spending hours and can't can't it to work:
checking plugin SkyrimCOVR.dll
