The modern audience comes through again , very impressive 💁🏽♂️.
It never fails…to not show up! 😂
Which is crazy because if there was this massive liberal group to sell too then you would think it do well so basically the group there pandering top doesn't even exist as true leftist don't give a shit about nonsense like this
"Abandoned" would imply that someone was interested in the first place.
Spot on !!!!!! REad my comment above.
Get out of my head you mind reader!
That said, I guess it is intuitively obvious 🤔
@@Primarch19th You're quite right, Ubisoft don't care, they just want to get their grubby hands on the public's cash, and screw all if it's a good (or even playable) game or not. No wonder we call them "Ubislop".
@@src6339 Mind reader? Thank you, but I wish. At least then we could stay a step ahead of them.
I'm sure some Disney shills were interested.
Ubisoft, sexist, DEI/ESG, Sweet Baby, Denuvo = HARD PASS
Everything relating to Star Wars before The Force Awakens was great! Especially the stories from the 80’s and 90’s. I feel like the “magic” was forced out of this franchise a long time ago.
I can’t abandon something I never even decided to buy
in the immortal words of Jeremy Clarkson... "oh no....anyway"
Playing JC in this game would have been amazing! Powwwwwerrrrrrr!
There cannot be many OG Star Wars fans like me who was a kid during the OG films left on board with Star Wars now! I vacated whwn Princess Leia was flying in space!
When my mom saw tfa she said "I liked that better when it came out in 1977" and hasn't watched anything since
Give Andor a shot, it's the only fragment of Star Wars not totally ruined by Disney
My favorite time to be a Star Wars fan was in the 90s pre-prequel trilogy era when we had the OG trilogy and the expanded universe and Lucas was very restrictive in terms of what could be written about or portrayed in media. It forced the content creators of the day to focus more on aspects of the Star Wars universe that were more tertiary to the main story. And similar to the gaming industry which was at its creative pique when technology limitations forced them to adapt by finding creative solutions to work around those limitations, so to did the people creating Star Wars content back in the day have to be equally as creative in creating interesting content (some of it better than others, but overall the product of 'Star Wars' was far superior to what it is now).
You mean when Princess Leia turned into Mary Poppins?
More people cared about EA’s Battlefront reboot than this game.
Good job everyone, well done. We will continue to show them that we will not mindlessly consume their garbage anymore. This is an era of active rejection and they will know us by the trail of the dead games, bankrupt developers, shattered dei consultants and broken games journalists left in our wake.
they doubled down so hard they squeek when they walk , DEI has killed starwars.
I loved Maulers video of this crap game
Meanwhile, I can’t find a physical copy of Space Marine 2 anywhere nearby.
Took me 2 weeks to get one and I'm on Xbox!
@@edrosa3485 Same here. I ended up having to order it online. I refuse to buy a digital version.
Ubisoft these days: I can barely find the gameplay through all the wokeness. It’s like they’re more focused on social commentary than fixing the glitches!
Ahh, you do not understand how to play the game. First, you need to have breast removal scars. Then, before playing, put on a pink bra and panties. You will be shown the way to your enjoyment of the game.
Forget the wokeness, the gameplay is boring and repetitive. Immersion breaking game mechanics
They should never have released it with so many issues. The AI alone is an absolute disgrace.
It's Unisoft... Another 3 years in the oven and it would still be terrible.
The story was pathetic anyway. All current Kennedy-Filoni Star Wars stories are bad. I just finished The Crystal Star by Vonda McIntyre, considered the worst original EU novel by many fans. I enjoyed it myself and it is way better than almost ANYTHING Kennedy-Filoni Star Wars has produced since 2014.
Been to my local supermarket every saturday for the last four weeks. In the entertainment section they had a star wars cardboard stand packed with xbox & playstation copies of the game for £67. It's not sold a copy, all thats happened is it's gathered dust and moved into a corner.
Makes me laugh everytime I see it.
Everyone has their own ideas of what they would like to see in a star wars game.....and their ideas would be vastly better than what we got
They didn’t even make enough money to pay for the licensing fee
I guess thats what happens when you make a game nobody wanted or asked for?
People have been asking for an open world Star Wars game for years. Just not...this.
Ubisoft games don’t exactly have longevity in general. There is a brief honeymoon period before boredom kicks in.
Aborted is a good word to describe men rejecting this garbage! My money, my choice! 😂
Myself when you look at the franchise as a whole and ask gamers why ST Outlaws is doing poorly and even they'll say the franchise is dead. So it's ginna be an up hill battle for the franchise to return to prominence.
We've only warned them for years about it.. It's like they don't want to succeed, or whomever is pulling the purse strings wants them to fail.
Yes it's very satanic. The goal is the destruction of all that is good in the world. To break everyone's spirit.
Abandonment is usually preceded by ownership/possession. This game was not abandoned, it's just being ignored.
Everything about it was bad on release and never fixed, not surprised
It had nothing going for it from the start 😂 Ubisoft slop? Hard pass. Star Wars with the very obvious DEI push? Hard pass. Overpriced? Hard pass.
I wonder if the c e o regret saying customers have to get used to not owing games 😂
I don't think its the brand at all, it's just a shit game period.. Jedi Saviour was a good star wars game :D
From EA nonetheless. That's like some convict actually making a nice present instead of another restraining order.
@@thientuongnguyen2564 I know, I was surprised too ;-).. EA is evil we can all agree, however they stepped out of the norm and got a huge W with both SW titles.. no predatory move's nothing! A glimpse back to old school....
Silent Hill 2 Remake has sold over a million it's less than a week old.
The grifters are PISSED about that. It's wild. They went from "my insider who owns 30 stores has told me NOBODY HAS BROUGHT THIS GAMe" to "it's fake. Trust me bro"
It's UK 2nd best seller, sold out in Greece and many other places lol.
Over 99% is a 100% right?
So it is DEFINITELY abandoned
As a Star Wars fan all I can say is that, for me, this game holds zero appeal. Ma'am Solo and her fists of steel just isn't an interesting protagonist, the story looks like a series of typical Ubisoft fetch quests cobbled together to keep the player busy, plus the bugs and wonky stealth mechanics are the icing on the cake I don't want to buy because it looks terrible. I am comfortable not owning this game.
So much for Ubisoft paying “DSW” RUclipsrs those expensive VIP trips and perks to $hill for this game…
😅😅😅😅😅😅
It's only partly because Disney has done an amazing job killing Star Wars, the bigger issue is that this game was typical Ubislop and people saw that coming. Survivor apparently sold well so it's not like there is no interest, there's just no interest in a SW game from Ubisoft.
I still have very fond memories of playing Rouge Squadron on the N64. Bloody difficult because of the limitations of the time, but so much fun
This is just a bad game . IMO I prefer games that setup a world and allow me to live in it my way. This game forces me to play in a way that is not how I would approach the different scenarios. The limitations are not driven by program or hardware challenges. The limitations are imposed based on how they want me to play and their social agendas. It is not fun to live a fantasy where you have to live by someone else’s morals and rules. That is day to day life …
Mr. H. YOU are missing the point. People bought the game in the first place! So does Ubisoft care? No ! over 1,000,000+ copies @ $80 (average sale/ high tier and low tier)= $80 million dollars. Probably more. Once they have the money, it doesn't matter if people abandon the game. It seems it is happening to all the new games that have come out (except Space Marine 2). The Emperor Protects*
The problem is it cost them more to make the game than $80 million.
The budget was over $200 million.
@@vyntarus9618 I get that. Most games are costing 200 million. The point is, people are not doing their research. They are fanboys. "Oh, I'll buy the game because I KNOW it will be fun"
Oppppppss, it's not fun. Didn't steam have a refund of game before three full days of play?
Dismal Disney FLOPS again and again and again and again and again and again and again again again and again and again and again again again and again and again and...
I’m sure I’m not alone in my Star Wars journey. Saw the original movie on original release as a five year old. Fell in love immediately, had the toys and played with them constantly. Was so excited when the prequels were announced and although they have their issues I’ve never hated them, after all they were part of George Lucas’ vision. When my kids came along it was a joy to introduce them to the Star Wars universe and then my excitement level went up when the sequels were announced. Then came TFA. I was disappointed. It felt like a rehash or a Star Wars greatest hits mix. Then TLJ left me stunned and confused as to why they would deliberately ruin the greatest cinematic hero of my generation? After that I was out. I’ve seen a few more of the Disney offerings and they have been dreadful. I’ve gone from loving Star Wars with all my heart to the point where I can’t even stand the very thought of it. Cheers Kathleen and Rian and JJ and the story group and Bob and Disney.
Way to go Disney and Ubisoft
15 dollar price tag is still overpriced
the steam numbers will be people buying it to roast it
More people cared about EA’s Battlefront 1 reboot than this game.
I saw this sh*t coming!
Disney have money to burn but we don't have time to waste!$$$$$
You know what’s funny H I’ve restarted Arkham Knight again these games never get old for me.
I find it funny how ubisoft said gamers "expect to much" yea asking for a stormtrooper to be able to shoot you while you try hide in 2 foot of grass is " too much" 😭😂😂😂
The modern audience once again spearheaded another excellent product
Nice. People finally speaking with their hard earned money. That's the only thing these companies care about. Affect their dollar.
Wouldn't even take it for free.
Ubisoft still thinks they will get a massive sales bump for the Christmas season. I'm hitting "X" to doubt.
No, ist just corpo speak to keep the stock price afloat. I dont have a lot of trust in their collective intellect, but they cannot possibly believe that a fixpack will convince 2m people to suddenly buy the game.
They'd have been better off calling it "Star Wars : Inlaws" by the ammount of love its clearly NOT getting
Outhouse.
As harsh as the criticism may have been, NOTHING will kill a game faster than the game itself. 🤔
6:00 whats wrong with workers collectively fighting for what they want in a work place? I see no issue with this.
Cartman has a thought on this...
This game will be on Xbox game pass within a few months!
I played it for about 4 hours and got bored.
Gone back to replaying RDR2
In seeing anything related to Star wars one can only consider the warmth factor now, like how much love do you have for Saturn 3. Its hopefully going to last.
this game could've been so good but in typical Ubisoft fashion they fuck it up
OH the DRAMA! 😂
Matt damon
People were looking forward to Beyond good and evil 2 but this is highly likely the replacement and it died lol.
Seems like Star Wars should start an Only Fans account.
Star wars always felt special because we didn't get new star wars all the time all Disney had to do after buying Lucas film was just give us 1 good star wars movie every 3 or 4 years or longer star wars always felt like an event they ruined it
4 million space marine to be precise
they are also putting out dlc.
This makes me slightly happy
That will be a great 20$ pickup eventually
It might be that low in the black friday sale next month.
They must take off DRM
Who is actually looking for this game I don't want to play as a broad with Ripley hair from Alien
Eventually it will drop on gamepass and I'll still not play
Bug fixes are important.
it should have never had the easy to find bugs it shipped with such as a broken stealth system
Everyone is so negative! I bought ten games just to finally experience my fetish of playing as the character Luther from the movie the Warriors.
What are the other nine? Surplus copies of Dustbin?
@@thientuongnguyen2564 I use them to raise my children. If they have disobeyed, they have to play the game. For some strange reason my games are being vandalized. However, it was lucky that I bought ten of them.
do you wanna know the most funny thing? this pile of trash on Epic still cost $ca90 just for the regular version... LOL
I don't think Star Wars is dead, but it's just dead for now. Fans keep hoping for good content, but when we don't get it we give it no attention or support. The minute something good comes around (if ever), many fans will surely jump back in for that content. Rinse and repeat. The question is, will there ever be good Star Wars content again? It's surely possible but not optimistic.
Star wars ,open world, character creator = game of the year
more people are playing jedi survivor right now 😂
Put 10 hours into it. Purely judging just the gameplay I would say
Pros- graphically amazing
-crime syndicate stystem works well
-world feels lived in
- surprisingly challenging, especially the wanted system
- exploration is rewarded
-some cool cameos
-stealth and platforming works decently enough
-nix makes for a good companion
Cons- gunplay copied straight from battlefront
- boring protagonist who acts nothing like a scoundrel
- speeder controls are abysmal
- punching people wearing helmets and knocking them out???
- its open world but not really because theres dead ends everywhere
- story makes u repeat similar missions very repetitive
Overall its a decent game, definitely overhated. Id give it like 6/10
More like Girl Wars.
You mean sh*t wars!😂
Good 👍
Whats crazy about striking and wanting better work environment? Showing off how much of a right wing weirdo you are
ah dude the workers are responsible for why the games are crap. why should they be paid for putting out a subpar product? they are overpaid hence why a several hundred development studio is making the game cost over 500 million to make.
the ubislop employees are like that coffeshop workers who were demanding more money despite being paid more than min wage with benefits and the coffeeshop not having make a profit in six years. guess what the workers all got a pink slip since the coffee shop closed.
I don't understand the hate around this game. I have been playing it and I'm 67% though and I am enjoying it. Why so much shade? FYI I am a 66-year-old "Boomer" who has been playing video games since -seriously - pong! lol.
Nice try kiddo, but you smell like a zoomer.
Because Disney has severely damaged the brand. And then just look at this game. The character isa blatant rip off of Han Solo. The vest, the pants, the side holster, even her flicking gun is the same model as Solo's. The game may be fun and have that Star Wars feel, but the brand has been so tainted now that spending allot of money on a brand that's forced woke down our throats is a turn off for allot of people. They're fed up and taking their money elsewhere. There are lots of good games to buy, people have voted with their wallets and anything Star Wars is in serious decline now.
@@Markis5150 I’m no Disney apologist, and they’ve made some bad Star Wars, yes. But I think tainting this game with brand disillusionment is just not giving it a chance. I did. Could care less her vest might look like Han’s. Does the game engage me? Do I find a good balance of story and game play? I am enjoying it. The sequel trilogy failed, no doubt about it. But Mando’s first 2 seasons were good and Andor is just friggin great. So I can’t do the whole paint brush over everything. Just my opinion. Certainly respect yours.
Despite its glitches, it's a good game
Said who? The last 1%?
@@thientuongnguyen2564 said me
Perhaps I will play it eventually once my friend FITGIRL gives me a copy. It'll be good for a laugh or two.
If you are considering buying this game. Don't, save your money and send it to me instead and in exchange I will send you a Polaroid picture of what I put in the toilet that day.
