What exactly does it state? That only US citizens can vote in ANY election in the US? What about legal residents (permanent visas, green cards etc.)? The Constitution may be a bit dated and not specific enough on this issue, hence the need for new federal legislation. Does this new proposed Bill prevent legal residents from voting in elections, including local elections? If you're in the US legally, and paying taxes, then you should be able to vote. Illegals - absolutely not.

Hi guys. I have some different points.
I’m an immigrant, never been illegal in U.S. and have been waiting for my citizenship.
Now for my arguments. I am 100% onboard with the SAVE ACT. Ppls that aren’t citizens should not have any saying in how this country is running! After all, they came hare bc theirs isn’t an Eden’s garden!
Second: if you are an immigrant, but pay your taxes, you should have access to the public services provided.
Third: Unfortunately, with a very heavy heart I say this, America does not provide public services as it should be! Public health care, public security, public schools/colleges, should be the bare minimum that any STATE provides for its own citizens.
Forth: There is no such thing as “ help them get back home”. This is our home now too. I came here, worked, served, paid taxes, followed the law, learned the language, adapted to this culture. I’m as much a citizen as you are!
Fifth: in any instance the public services should rely on churches, private sector, nongovernmental organizations and etc. The government should provide basics services for free.
Lastly: Religious institutions, such as churches, should pay their taxes.
I hope you take your time to think about this points with an open mind.
