Cool tree and habitat
looked a bit like a Tipuana Tipu tree from the foliage...very similar.
Bi Pinnate leaflets. I think it is a Robinia Psuedo Acacia. A locust tree
How’s it going in the Hood today. Good Morning M. Hood Fishing and Neighbors
I am watching from Elmira NY watch out for giant hog weed we have it up here DEC has to remove it
Betcha tossing out some bread before you toss the net might help
Ive heard they are in Texas also those mexican ducks they talked about it on a waterfowl hunting podcast.
Spring fishing is a real mental argument for me, I actually fish for food and not for sport so spring is tempting because of the spawn runs but there are also so many fisherman out there disturbing the landscape and one of the things I enjoy about fishing is the solitude. Hard to find these days, especially in springtime on Cagle's Mill Lake in Indiana. Plus the weather, I remember as a kid I would go fishing with my father in the Ozarks on rainy days and the warmest place we could find was in the creek up to our necks, dodging lightning bolts. Currently I tend to wait until the weather is hot enough to discourage other people from trying.
That is Mimosa.
i think whta you are lpooking at is a Locust Tree and not a Mimosa,
“Fishing till the weather breaks the sky” more like bull💩ing till the weather breaks the sky.
Talking about birds and plants and 💩
That could be hemlock. Check it out.
we live in a magic spot for sure. I still like the Red up near Shreve more, but this place is super fun.
