Goog to see Mike Cooley at the end. You had me worried for a second. But, yeah, the DBT are awesome, but with a sober Isbell they are unbelievably fantastic!
Everyone looks great, much healthier and ready for the road ahead. Congrats to everyone for taking their own path and finding success. Jason Isbell will always be a DBT member at heart.
This video made my day. These guys all changed my view on music. Thank you so much for posting. Anyone who has a problem with the set decoration, go listen to some Ted Nugent.
Who said I thought any different? You're a little late to the party so you might have the context of my comment confused. Don't know why it bothered you but anyway have a good one : )
@@CrustyTuna thanks for saying that. I’ve got black friends that wouldn’t go anywhere near a DBT show. They are fighting the wrong fight. BLM is a hate group.
It’s misery. I love the music and I love my black brothers and sisters. Did not and would not vote for Trump but I can’t think of how this country would end up if we just shut law enforcement down.
@@WellseeTheend that shows how uninformed you are with the situation. there are other ways to do things & law enforcement in america has proven over&over that it is a completely unjust & unfair shitshow. its also proven that it does not want to & will not fix itself. if any business was messing up as much as law enforcement does, they'd quickly be shut down&replaced. But you've been brainwashed that putting on a uniform somehow makes people heroes & that the overly militarized violent police system we have is the only way to do things, so you don't want to know about better ways. you just pretend defund the police can only mean lawless anarchy in the streets with criminals having free reign over everyone. sad that you are so under informed yet feel that you have so much to add to the convo.
Good for you guys! Black lives do matter and some of us love the great songs and music JI and the DBT band did. The 400 Unit plays great music with Jason Isbell. My favorite "white man" is the super talented Jason Isbell. Not to worry about losing support for your music. Plenty of people willing to run out and buy a JI and Drive By Trucker CD. The bands and Jason, put out great music. What's not to love? What exactly is wrong with having a social conscience and a moral sense of justice? It is the 21st century, people. America is great and we're never returning to the slave plantations, because BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Patterson looks very uncomfortable the whole time, with his back to Jason. Thanks for the video, the set decoration reminded me why I'm done supporting this band.
You have to be joking. Did you even watch?. They made immediate eye contact in the first 30 seconds, smiled and jammed together shoulder to shoulder to close the song. Then they hugged and smiled. Jeez.
Are you watching the same video the rest of us are? That bad blood had been buried and I think now that he is sober Jason realizes how much they helped him when they kicked him out. He needed to hit bottom
Except when PH was singing, he was grinning the whole time, jammed shoulder-to-shoulder with Jason, and ~kissed~ him at song's end. Yep, that reads "uncomfortable". It's so clear how much genuine love there is between all of them.
This is a beautiful song as everything was on Decoration Day. The absolute screaming when Isbell sings is kinda disrespectful to Cooley and Hood. DBT were great before him and great after him.
Dino Velvet DBT is much better live than they were when Jason was with them. The new bass player and the multi-instrumentalist really tie the room together. It also seems like Cooley is just a tab less sloppy drunk than he used to be. They wrote their best albums with Jason but they're better live now. I just wish they played Jason's DBT songs now.
Looked like a lot of love out on stage -- this put a huge smile on my face -- just fantastic to see them together.

Good to see Jason Isbell and the boys still get along.
You mean the older guys saw this young with with talent galore, and showed him the ropes ? Then he had to grow up and get healthy, which he did. XOXO
I love this band. They care and they're damn good. Thanks for posting...
Amazing! Thank you for the steady hand!
the look on Patterson's face as he walked over to Jason says everything. Would LOVE to see Jason and Amanda do a tour sitting in with the Truckers.
They cant really do that anymore though, despite relationships, they could never pheasably reunite beyond small appearences like this
thank you so much for recording this ... have always wanted to see this
Got something in my eye.
This video made my day. These guys all changed my view on music. Thank you so much for posting. Anyone who has a problem with the set decoration, go listen to some Ted Nugent.
True.
Evo 123 all lives matter.....if you have a problem with that tough shit.....
Who said I thought any different? You're a little late to the party so you might have the context of my comment confused. Don't know why it bothered you but anyway have a good one : )
To quote another DBT song, you don't see too many white kids lyin' bleedin' on the street.
That is because the gangs aren't filled with white kids.
Greatest band, greatest song! This almost made my day until I started reading the comments. Never read the comments.
Seeing Jason and and Truckers jam in front of BLM sign is happiness.
Actually its stupidity.

God damn this band is so good with Isbell. Good on him for doing his own thing, but the Truckers are nothing like they are with Isbell.
They are both better now. 95% of Trucker fans who still go to shows say the Truckers are at their best. And Jason's work speaks for itself.
@@patrickbarry2828 getting in to both of them now. Glad to hear that

Saw these guys at Mac’s Saloon in E Lansing way too many years ago. Glad DBT welcomed Jason to join them.
Thats myself and wife’s song, didn’t know they ever reunited at the Ryman? Would have loved to seen that show! 👍🏻
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing, Nick. It could have only been better if they had gone right into Outfit.
That BLM sign in the back is everything. 💗
Drive by truckers liked BLM before it was trendy.
I wish jason had as much fun on stage as patterson
It's the same old shit I ain't gonna take from anyone
♡♡♡
I'm smiling so much, my lips are getting sore! :D
absolutely lovely
Greatness, please come back to the band Jason Isbell.
The problem with that is the fact hes bigger than them now, if they did it would be, jason isbell and drive by truckers, not drive by truckers.
Thank you for the video !! ;} x
Woah. Is Isbell playing a custom G&L? His headstock has "the nipple".
It's a Reverend Guitar
Sorry came to this late and its a Reverend I think...
YES!!!!!
Where the hell is Cooley, camera doesn't show him till end?
To the left of Patterson, just out of view unfortunately.
Not a dry Jean in the house
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead

Ain't nobody got to know about what I done
And I never hear a single word you say
When you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone
And I don't need to be forgiven
By them people in the neighborhood
When we first hooked up, you looked me in the eye
You said "Paw, we just ain't no good."
We were heathens in their eyes at the time
I guess I am just a heathen still
And I never have repented for the wrongs you say I've done
I done what I feel
It was a difficult delivery
Now he's growing up mean and strong
When you tell me that it's getting just a little bit tight
Ain't the first time I been outgrown
And now I'm gonna push a little harder
She ain't revved till the rods are thrown
And I'll walk away
And I don't need to be forsaken
By you or anybody else
And I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me
The dangers I pose to myself
Heathens
And these times can take their toll sometimes
And I know you feel the same way too
It just gets so hard to keep between the ditches
When the roads wind the way they do
Awesome
They could use another guitar player all the time. Jason ain't coming back no more than Jesus. Maybe Neff. He was pretty damn good, too.
Neff and that cute bassist they had done gone and left...
DBT is a great band. But Jason Isbell walks circles around these dudes.
Patterson looks very uncomfortable the whole time, with his back to Jason.
Thanks for the video, the set decoration reminded me why I'm done supporting this band.

can you not see the smile on Patterson's face, he's loving this!
Except when PH was singing, he was grinning the whole time, jammed shoulder-to-shoulder with Jason, and ~kissed~ him at song's end.
Yep, that reads "uncomfortable". It's so clear how much genuine love there is between all of them.
Black Lives Matter? Wow! Won't buy another thing from these guys. What a shame that they feel this way.
It's a shame that they think black lives matter? How could you even see through your hood to type your comment?
You are missing the point..ALL lives matter!!!! Also, keep your politics out of your art..
You know who founded the KKK, right?
I am sure they will miss you.. bwahahahahahaha
snowflake
Damn it sucks to see a good band fall prey to the news medias. Sucks
Dang! I love the music but the support of BLM turns me off. I really think less of the band now and doubt I'll be buying anymore DBT material.
This is a beautiful song as everything was on Decoration Day. The absolute screaming when Isbell sings is kinda disrespectful to Cooley and Hood.
DBT were great before him and great after him.
T Lewis the thing is it's kinda like when Neil young plays with cny they are great without him but they something special when he plays
DBT can't hold Isbell's joc strap, that's why all of his songs are still their most popular on every online streaming plug 10 years later
Robert Martinez isbell wouldn't be anywhere without the truckers.
They're both great in their own right.
Once a great band, now just a travesty!
What are you talking about? I was at DBT shows 14 years ago and at THIS show. They still kick ass.
Dino Velvet DBT is much better live than they were when Jason was with them. The new bass player and the multi-instrumentalist really tie the room together.
